Shower was a little strange and had a hinge on the head that could sometimes turn and spray outside the shower. "The Hotel L'Arve was in a quieter part of Chamonix which was nice, since the town gets pretty busy. We had a view of Mont Blanc from our patio which was nice. The room was a little awkward in the way that it faces out to the river and a pedestrian pathway just beyond that so it lacked privacy. Also, because there is no air conditioning, the windows stay open at night and we were affected by "people noise" one evening, and "nightclub music noise" another evening. One other noise problem we could hear in our room dealt and brought to their attention was a loudly swinging door in the kitchen which was constant from about 6:00 AM until breakfast service was over. Hopefully they rectified this one. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The lawn area was the total winner for coffee in the morning and reading in the afternoon. Beautiful!"
