Great location, perfect for two
Wonderful property! Very clean, super close to town, and well stocked. My husband and I were able to explore Paso and the surrounding towns and come home and cook at lunch or in the evenings. This will definitely be our new go to when we visit.

Historic Gem!
Love the charm and beauty of this attic getaway. Quiet, clean and perfectly appointed. Just a few blocks from the town square and for you golfers out there - less than 10 minutes away from two very affordable and fun public golf courses.

if you’re contemplating about booking… DO IT asap
Ok so first off literal blocks to downtown. You’re close enough to walk, far enough to not deal with the traffic or mess or people (aka noise). Also, driving distance is 10 minutes to wineries like Penman Springs, etc. Lyfts were also super easy to catch - my little sister went to dinner with us and then I sent her in a Lyft back to SLO. Lyft was there within a minute. The place was spotless but SO homey and probably the best stocked vrbo I’ve stayed at. I slept really well and where the bed is, the sun doesn’t get to or the shades were dim enough so it stayed dark to sleep in. The bed is also very comfortable! They have basic cable so our son was able to watch cartoons in the AM and we were able to binge some Lifetime movies in the evening. Doordash also delivered quickly when we got in late on Friday. Also the backyard is so well kept. We had breakfast at the small table while our son ran around in the yard. Ample space - we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. Just a fyi, there’s no door to the bedroom but it’s plenty far (likely 15 yards) from the living room where if your child or significant other was asleep in the room they wouldn’t hear anything. Seriously theee cutest place I’ve stayed at. This place makes me want to visit Paso more just to be hosted here! Hosts were very welcoming and flexible with arrival time - we didn’t have a set time since we were driving in.

Perfect hideaway
The attic is spacious and comfortable. No one lives downstairs, so it's quiet too. It is close to downtown with many restaurant choices only minutes away. It has everything you need plus a few extras. The owner is very accommodating and easy to reach. As long as stairs are not an issue for you, it is a perfect hideaway.

Fabulous location and charming space for a couple weekend away. Super quiet, and the AC worked great which was needed for our 106+ degree weekend. Super easy check in and super clean place. We will be back!

The perfect space and location in Paso
It's rare to find a location that allows you to walk to almost everything you would want to walk to in downtown Paso Robles. Most hotels are not near downtown, and are 2x or 3x the cost. Plus, this was very cute, clean, and practical. The only downside is that it is on the top level of a victorian house, so some of the ceilings are angled to low levels. If you're tall, be careful!

Perfect Paso weekend
Huston’s Attic was absolutely charming and full of historical character! The appartment was equipped with everything we could possibly need for our 2 night stay even with bottled water and coffee supplies! The location could not have been more convenient being a short 5 minute walk into the restaurant/shopping area of Paso! The communication with our host, Bruce, was great and check in and checkout was seamless. Would definitely return and highly recommend for a getaway stay for 2! Many thanks for everything!

Great place and location!
This is an amazing property and location! So easy to walk to downtown for all the wine and food you want. We loved our stay and understand why it has 5 stars! We will definitely stay here again. Couple notes- if you are tall, this place will be a little difficult as the ceilings in some areas are low, it is the attic of the house that they have turned into a super charming living space. Walking back to the house at night the streets are dark, that’s not their fault just something to mention. It didn’t bother us but may others.

Super Cozy!
Bruce made check-in quick and brief, and the checkout process was just as easy! The rental was spotless, and it was even provided with some water and kcups for the Keurig was the cherry on top! Excellent location to walk Into town and have access to all the tasting rooms and lovely restaurants. Also, all the wineries were no more than a 20 min drive away! I would highly recommend this stay!

Great weekend getaway for a couple
My wife and I loved staying here! It was walking distance to all of the restaurants, coffee shops, and tasting rooms in downtown Paso yet was still quiet at night. It was also very close to the many wineries in West Paso. I was very impressed with how well-stocked everything was, plenty of the "little things" that you might need and that makes a stay that much better. 10/10 would stay here again!

Wonderful apartment in a PERFECT spot
I loved staying here. Rooms utilize the dormers in the upper level, giving the place such charm everywhere I looked. So comfortable and clean, with so many beautiful little touches. The location could not be more perfect! Just a short walk to downtown, with cafes, the library,. restaurants, movie theater, etc. I simply loved staying here.

Perfect Location

Quaint upper floor!
The check-in was personal and easy! Beautifully restored upper level of home. Fully furnished with comfortable bed. Full kitchen, laundry, tub and shower. We only stayed 2 nights but would consider spending as much as a month! It felt like we were at home! The owner was very personable and we really enjoyed Paso Robles!

We had a fantastic week in Paso and Houston's Attic was the perfect home base. Bruce was responsive and accommodating. The location couldn't be better. The bed is really comfortable and the bath towels are luxurious. We felt right at home. Highly recommend.

The host made booking, checking in, and checking out very easy. The unit is really spacious and the outside area was nice to have available during the stay. We easily walked all around town and driving out of town to wineries was very convenient. Highly recommend!

This is a lovely place to stay - clean, well-organized, tasteful and comfortable - in a great location walking distance from the central town square in Paso Robles. The owner met me there to (briefly) go over a few things and checked in with me when I left. The place is obviously scrupulously maintained and it shows. The kitchen was especially well equipped and even had an array of spices. Highly recommended.

Perfect Location
We really enjoyed staying in this historical Victorian home so close to downtown Paso. The location is pretty and an easy walk to everything. Yes the angled ceilings were a bit low for my tall husband. Not an issue for me! There's a cute walk in closet that I used mostly. The bed was comfortable; more on the firm side. It could use some more pillows though. They were a little thin. But truly nothing to complain about with this property. The bathroom is lovely. The water pressure is great. The space is comfortable and just perfect for two people.

Home Away from Home at Huston’s Attic
Huston’s Attic is a very comfortable, spacious and well appointed apt ideally situated close to downtown and the Paso Market Walk. It was ideal for exploring the area on foot and by bike. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be back!

We initially selected this property because of its location and proximity to downtown. It was even better than advertised! The place felt spacious (despite slanted ceiling heights) and super quiet. The Owner met us and walked us in and made the process so lovely. We would definitely come back!

The lovely Victorian Attic was well stocked and also had a welcome bottle of wine and chocolates! Bruce was great to work with. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting the area. You will be walking distance to many restaurants, wine tasting rooms, and coffee shops. The property owner was accommodated my evening arrival and left a bottle of Tobin James Syrah for me to enjoy over the weekend.

My spouse and I honeymooned here 6 years ago. We came back for an anniversary trip with our infant and found this place to be exactly as we remembered. The owners take great care of this property and it shows. The place was spotless and nothing in it had aged from our previous visit. It’s in a great location, walking distance to the square and the new Market Walk. The owners were also very accommodating to our needs, allowing for extra time at checkout to feed our baby and room to arrive at a time that was convenient for us. We love this place and were so glad to have revisited for this special trip!

Charming Victorian Attic Apartment
Beautifully renovated attic apartment just a block from downtown. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Parking provided. Air conditioning included (a must in the summer!). A nice little oasis in Paso Robles. Just watch your head (a few low ceilings; it is an attic after all). Great place!

Lovely place in a great location
This is an upstairs unit in an old Victorian home. It was very clean and very well equipped in terms of kitchenware and supplies. The only improvement would have been providing shampoo. You can’t beat the location—a five minute walk to the square. Parking was convenient as well. Be aware that there is no elevator so if stairs are an issue you may have a problem.

Wonderful getaway at the perfect location, walking distance to all downtown galleries, restaurants, wineries and breweries. Bruce was very accommodating and easy to get in touch with, he even had a birthday gift of wine and beer for us when we checked in! Very clean in all aspects, super comfortable bed and couch, and good water pressure in the shower! We highly recommend this property.

We get out to Paso a lot, and we've stayed at a lot of rentals in town. Bruce and Terry's lovely little apartment is now one of our favorites. You cannot beat the location - on the prettiest street in town with lovely victorian houses everywhere, and a quick walk to downtown with all the fun shops and restaurants, we definitely could not have asked for a better area to stay. The apartment itself is small, but very well equipped, and comfortable. Bruce met us at check in, and couldn't have been more helpful - we really felt welcomed, and we knew we could call on him for anything we needed. We would definitely stay here again, and especially like the idea of coming back at Christmas when all of Vine street is decorated for the season!

Unit is above a gorgeous Victorian house and is equipped with everything you need. It is also very comfortable. It is also ideally located for a short walk into the center.
