"The hotel and our room (garden balcony) were beautifully decorated and we loved the koi fish and fire pit. However, this hotel is more about looks than function. Be aware that (beyond the balcony, and it has no electrical socket and it was 90°) there is no work surface to be had. If you plan to use your laptop, you will have to find a coffee shop or prop yourself up on the bed. We were unlucky to find that our mattress had a hump down the middle and we rolled outwards. Maintenance rotated the mattress for me, but didn’t replace it. On the second night the shower drain started clogging, so that was fun, too. Further, be aware of the $45/day “resort fee.” They will charge you this fee at the end of your stay, so it may surprise some people. It is an attractive place and well located, but there are too many negatives for a repeat stay."
