Charming Country Cottage Located On Cute Farm, Minutes From The Delaware River
10/10 Excellent
"Very welcoming couple. Jim greeted us on our arrival. Beautiful cabin with plenty of room for a group. Cute antiques all over to give it an old rustic charm. I plan to return with my kids inn the spring or fall. They have animals on the farm which is amazing!. If you're from the city you will never see so many stars!. Cabin had every thing you need for cooking . All jim where to eat if you're not familiar with the area. There is a book with resturaunts that he recommends as well. Fyi the crosstown tavern has great burgers and onion soup! I highly recommend! "
"Our family of 22 just returned from our annual cousins trip, and after four years of doing this together, we can confidently say this was the BEST house yet!The recreation house absolutely blew us away. There were so many games and activities that kids and adults were entertained nonstop. It truly made the trip special and gave everyone something to do at all times. The main house was warm, comfortable, and perfect for hanging out together. We spent hours just relaxing, cooking, and enjoying each other’s company. The pool and hot tub were a huge hit — especially in the winter! This was hands down the most well-stocked rental. There were plenty of pool towels (which makes a difference with a big group), more than enough to cook large meals, and tons of plates/utensils so we never ran out. For a group our size, that matters more than you’d think. If I had to list any small opportunities for improvement, I’d say a second dishwasher in the main house would be helpful for a group this size — and I wish there hadn’t been so much snow so we could sit outside and enjoy the beautiful stars from the backyard. But that one is on us for choosing a winter trip! The owner was incredibly considerate and communicative. A pipe burst before our trip, but they kept us informed. We knew exactly what to expect, and it didn’t limit our stay at all.We made amazing memories here, and this house truly helped make it our best cousins trip yet. Highly recommend for large family gatherings!"
"I loved staying here. I stayed for 2 nights in January. The resort is beautiful in the snow. The Inn room was nicely decorated and painted with a cool modern/industrial look. The beds were comfortable, the pillows were the coziest I’ve ever felt. The room was big with a nice Keurig, TV, microwave, and balcony view. We went to a fun Barn Party where there was a two person live band, games, and a nice hangout vibe. We also ice skated, sled, explored, and had great, reasonably priced food (delicious omelets, and amazing chicken florentine). The staff was very nice and helpful. The team plowed snow quickly, and the club is a nice drive, about 10 minutes, from some restaurants and a nice cafe on the creek. I don’t have any big complaints - two minor things are house keeping seems to be by request only but we didn’t see any communication on that, and some things seem to close early if there isn’t enough traffic (dinner hours / ice skating, so keep in touch with the front desk. They’re very responsive over text). Overall, I had a blast. It was great."
