We found the room and hotel to be quite dated Carpets were dirty and towels had marks on them. We never felt clean during our stay here. It was our first trip to the Lakes and we have been put off returning because of it.

I stayed in room 65. The room was clean the staff were really helpful. The breakfast was well presented and really nice. We ate there once in the evening and it was great. The spa was really nice. We stayed in the Osprey room, a double room, very nicely refurbished. The bed was king sized and quite comfortable. Breakfasts were fine with a nice variety of food offered.
