We had a pleasant visit
Audrey was a lovely host, explaining all the housekeeping things from keyless entry to available snack and beverage options. Our breakfast was amazing- delicious! We won't forget The Whistling Swan Bed & Breakfast - and will recommend it to anyone who will be traveling in that area!
A really lovely place, with a beautiful garden around it and a spacious, inviting veranda. My room was serene and pretty. The breakfast choices were amazing and I really enjoyed the option of having mine outside. And there are lots of really comfortable public areas for relaxing inside as well. Seems like it would be a great place to stay in any season!

Welcoming host and tasty homemade breakfast. Stanhope is an interesting location right on a lovely lake. Victorian style house nice, room small (no closet), bathroom in need of updating, TV offered only minimal streaming and mostly didn't connect to devices. Could use a refresh.
It’s a cute space and rooms are very cute. The walkway from the parking lot to main entrance could be more convenient and lit up especially the gravel part of the walkway. Overall cute place I’d visit again
Every morning we had a wide range of choices for breakfast, freshly cooked each morning. Fresh sour dough bread and home made yogurt. The rooms were clean and filled with antique furniture and little decorative items. Very charming!
We stayed in the Waterloo Village, and it was very comfortable. We like a firm bed and this one was very comfortable. The view from the room is the garden with fountain. The room and bath were clean, and the bath had a heat lamp which was nice. Breakfast was excellent and the cookies available in the afternoon were a pleasant treat. The hostess was always pleasant and friendly.

This is a fabulous Bed and Breakfast in the old style not found much today in modern America. The house is big and charming and inviting. Even in the rain we could happy sit on the wrap around porch looking at the other historic houses nearby. The breakfast component was beyond delicious. Audrey the owner/chef is happy to accomodate dietary needs and clearly loves to cook and bake. The room was warm and cozy...as well as cooled when necessary with central air. This is a true gem and a super find. Ten stars.
We loved the charm appeal of this old Victorian, bed-and-breakfast. The owner was super helpful with ideas for the area and accommodating breakfast really appreciated our stay and if we’re in the area, we would be back.

The fresh cooked breakfast that Audry prepared each morning was delicious, nutritious and such a treat - we’ll be back again soon!
I went for a weekend with my husband. The owner greeted us at the door and showed us around. Her place is cozy and well-maintained. She bakes cookies and other delicious treats for her guests and prepares breakfast herself. We plan to return when the weather is warmer.
