"If you are walking the Camino, this a wonderful, short detour and well worth it for the comfortable bed and lovely pool! We took a 6 euro uber from caminha centre and enjoyed such a lovely, luxury stay during our camino. The location is so peaceful and quiet and the pool did wonders for our aching bodies! Our hosts were so helpful and kind and the standard of accommodation was fantastic. We were leaving early the next day but we were sent on our way with the most amazing breakfast. We were sad...

This house is the best location in which we have ever stayed: Attention to detail is evident everywhere from the bed and bath linens to the kitchenware to the overall design of the unit’s layout. "Beautifully decorated and positioned house on the outskirts of town. It’s the lower floor of the host’s house with a lovely view from the patio and a garden area below. You can sit or dine outside and see beautiful sunsets. Inside is very comfortable with everything you need. Host is a lovely man - excellent communication and local knowledge. Kitchen came stocked with coffee, tea & wine. TV has Netflix, Prime etc. You can walk downhill into the beautiful historic town in about 20 minutes. Easy & secure parking. Highly recommend."

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully renovated windmill in Ponte de Lima. It is truly unique, full of character and set in a wonderfully peaceful and private location. The spacious decking and hot tub were highlights, with such fantastic views. The kitchen was well equipped and the property had everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay. We were visited daily by two lovely black cats that we became quite attached to :)A car is recommended and the steep access road was no problem for us at all. There are mosquitoes due to the woodland and plug-in deterrents were provided but do bring a good repellent spray. I reacted badly to bites and needed a hospital visit. I’m British and found the care at Ponte de Lima hospital was excellent - far more efficient than in the UK. Within three hours, I was given a cortisone injection, had bloods returned and was issued with antibiotic cream. The staff were all wonderful.We’ve given 9/10 rather than 10/10 due to cleanliness. While the property was generally clean but would benefit from a deeper clean. Some windows and the patio door were quite dirty, and the sofa covers and some drawers could do with a thorough clean. These are minor, easily fixable issues. Overall, this is a beautiful, relaxing and very special place. We would happily return and would certainly recommend it. Hopefully next time it will be a 10/10 from us!"

"La casa está situada en un lugar perfecto, da la sensación de estar alejada de todo y sin embargo está a un paso del centro. El jardín es enorme y la temperatura de la piscina es ideal. Las camas son cómodas y estaba limpio. No cocinamos así que no puedo valorar si tenía todo lo necesario. La comunicación y trato tanto por parte de Isabel y Cándida fue excelente y atentas a cualquier necesidad. Error nuestro al interpretar que es una casa independiente con uso de piscina privado, pues se trata de una quinta muy grande con varias casas. Aún así todo estuvo bien y agradecemos la amabilidad recibida."

"Really clean and well maintained! Right on the middle of everything, there’s a shopping center under the apartments , very convenient. Walk to all good restaurants and historic places. Just to say one inconvenience, lol there’s no elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage all the to 3rd floor . But it’s worth! The cleaning lady even walked us to very nice restaurant and introduced us . Very happy!"
