Situated between Flagstaff and Williams. It was easy to get everywhere and nice to return to a comfy place at the end of the day. The wooded property and the large decks were favorite spots for the kids.
Loved the "fancy hogan"! It was great for our family and our dogs loved it as well. The weather was nice, and the AC unit upstairs really helped on one particularly warm day.
Everything was fantastic! Only thing to complain about was that the drain for the shower was clogged and I had to fix it myself. Other than this, it was a great stay. Lot of dishes too (no dishwasher). Other than these suggestions, the location is prime and the house is amazing and close enough and far enough from busy flagstaff! Thank you for the hospitality. Would also recommend a trashbin as well.
Lovely location, quiet and home was accurately described in the VRBO materials. This is the second time we stayed in this home. There are some needs that should be considered in the not too distant future. The property could be enhanced by a deep cleaning inside and out. The property is quite nice located close to Williams and an easy drive to the Grand Canyon. Clear nights make it a great location to star watch. Would we return for a third stay? Yes, we would.

Wonderful Cabin! Wonderful Experience!
We rented this cabin for the weekend rather than a hotel so we could be in the Flagstaff area for our daughter's graduation from NAU....and so glad we did. The family was all able to be together and had such a great time. The cabin was all that was promised and so much more. Everything we needed was there, even the extra space to set up the "cake table" to honor our graduate. We loved the uniqueness of the cabin and it felt very roomy and comfortable. Another thing the cabin offered over a hotel was the great outdoors! The two grandkids never got bored since they were able to go outside and play and discover. They would have never been able to experience this had we stayed in a hotel. And we could always see where they were with all of the huge windows! The cabin is beautiful and very comfortable, and we found it very clean. Vance couldn't have been more accommodating with answering my questions very promptly and even little special requests. We had such a wonderful time making good family memories there and everyone wants to go back in the winter to play in the snow! Definitely will be returning!

No Cleaning Deposit not Necessarily a Good Thing
It is a very nice cabin in a beautiful area but listed below are items of concern:
1. We left the cabin much cleaner than it was when we arrived. I recommend you request cleaning deposits from your guests. We washed many items before we used them like dishes, the coffee pot especially and pots and pans because they were not very clean. Also, there is a great deal of dust and dirt on the ceiling fans and cobwebs throughout the cabin.
2. There were only 2 rolls of toilet paper in the entire cabin. We searched everywhere and couldn’t find any extra.
3. There were no paper towels.
4. There was one washcloth in the master bath, none in the downstairs bath. I finally found about 4 or 5 in the downstairs bedroom closet which weren’t suitable to be used until we washed them.
5. There were no dish rags to wash dishes with just a couple of dirty sponges that should have been thrown away.
6. There was no toaster advertised.
7. There was no internet access as advertised.
Personally, when I stay somewhere I don’t mind paying a cleaning deposit because then you don’t have to deal with most of those items above. With as nice a cabin as you have in such a beautiful area, you could generate a lot of repeat business by eliminating these problem issues.
As it stands now I would not be a repeat customer.
This cabin is very lovely. Vance, the owner communicated all instructions and i had no issues at all. Will definitely, visit this town again.
Thank you for allowing us to use your cabin.
Host was super accommodating and very responsive. House was clean and we had everything we needed for a short getaway. Area has excellent hiking spots and is not too far from other great places to explore
This cabin is perfect for our family. Peaceful setting with an open floor plan - it felt like home. Great place to celebrate our daughter's graduation. It was perfect.
This cabin was located on a nice piece of land and the kiddos had plenty of room to sled right on the property! The upstairs view was amazing and the family room was cozy! It snowed the whole time we were there and it was beautiful. Vance the property owner was very helpful and easy to contact with concerns or questions.
Very quiet and peaceful property. The back yard is a short walk to the national forest on the back end. We heard nothing from any neighbors whatsoever and spent most of our time relaxing on the decks. It was a cold few days that rained so the fireplaces both downstairs and up made a big difference! the heaters take some time to heat up but overall great. We made great use of the little getaway and look forward to maybe returning here in the future.
These are the amenities that were not available, but that were listed on this listing: NO internet, NO house instructions, NO gas (not wood) stoves were working, NO filtered water, NO entertainment system in upstairs living room (just Dish, with no internet we could get no movies except live TV), NO DVR downstairs in family room. We ended up leaving a day early. Very disappointing, especially because this was my birthday getaway, and the cabin is cute, and it could have been a relaxing, cozy stay in the pines. Without internet, and with very unstable cell phone connectivity, I could not check in with my business. Without the fireplaces, we had no desire to stay. Even the bedroom ceiling fan is broken and only works at top extreme speed. If you are counting on the above listed ammenities, they are not there. Check with the owner for those fixes before booking.
The cabin is wonderful. Sits next to the National Forest. There are homes nearby and across the street, but still felt secluded. The photos on the Internet show the gas fireplaces working, but they do not. That was what we were looking forward to. The cabin has a second floor which overlooks the trees, very nice! Fed the squirrels and birds. Very enjoyable. We were very comfortable there. Would go back again.
My family and I absolutely enjoyed our stay in this hogan cabin! It was very comfortable and accommodated our family very well. It is close to all kinds of neat adventures. We highly recommend and will definitely be back! The host, Vance, is very kind.
Stayed for a full week and could not have been happier with the property. Better than advertised. Well stocked kitchen made cooking super convenient. Close to nature, attractions and Flagstaff. Would absolutely come back.
My son and I went up to Williams and had a great time at the car show, Bearizona, and Whitehorse lake. Everything was as described and a great fun cabin in the woods. No dishwasher but not a big deal. The host was great and readily available.
Very nice experience. Plenty of kitchen utensils. Quiet neighborhood even saw some mule deer the second evening. Beds were comfortable, up early for easy drive to Grand Canyon. Would very much like to return.
