the location was good. the thing I did not like was that there was no microwave for me to reheat my food. I have a very sensitive stomach and can't eat out. I am not the only person who is like this. The next day I paid for eating out.

For an overnight stay or a couple of nights, I definitely would recommend this place. Excellent price, close to shops (nice to walk after driving long hours), clean amenities, spacious for either a single person or a couple of ppl, quiet location, and close to the Newell Hwy for an early getaway. I really liked the small things like the way the towels are folded...quality touch. Mick at reception was extremely helpful and a happy host to chat with. I will for sure use stay here when I’m in Parkes again. Thank you Mick:)

The property and stay were fine - the only downside was that there was no-one there when we arrived and we were unsure whether we actually had a room or not as we had booked on-line. We came and went twice before the lady arrived back and we could check in.

Reception very friendly and helpful, pleasant and easy to assist. property needs a lot of improvement as well, a lot or railway noise and rooms very small; although quite comfortable and adequate the motel needs major upgrade if it is to compete with other motels.

We made a booking 3 and a half hours before our arrival as we didnt want to miss out on a 2 bedroom suite as travelling with my husband, my dad and my kids and arrived to find she did not have that room available for us and we all had to sleep in one room.
