Wonderful place to stay

We stayed here for a getaway through Thanksgiving week 2024. The place was great, many things to go do and have fun. The deck outside entertainment areas was way bigger than we thought. Very clean and comfy. We recommend this place, Robert and Lynn are very nice!

Hidden gem on the river

We enjoyed our time in Parker so much, the rental and hosts were awesome! This place is right on the river, there is a great patio and dock to enjoy it all from. The rental has everything you need to make your stay comfortable and feel like you’re at home. We will definitely stay here again!!!

Enjoyed the strip

The location of this property was primo. Nothing like waking up & going to bed to the sound of waves hitting the beautiful covered deck. The property itself was comfortable, very clean, and well stocked with anything you could need. The hosts, Robert and Lynn , were very accommodating. I would stay at this property again.

Great spot right on the river

The cottage was perfect. We loved being on the water. Very clean and well stocked. It felt like home. Their dog Rita is a sweetheart and she helped us not miss our 3 dogs back home as much. Thank you, Robert and Lynn for being such nice people and great hosts. We can't wait to return.

A first time for us for a VRBO. Lynn and Robert were great and so very helpful! Highly recommend this little slice of heaven right on the shore of the Colorado River!

Great Location

Very impressed with the place. Enjoyed the large covered patio with plenty of good views. Good part of the river to watch the action. The place has all the amenities you would need and its all good quality stuff. The owners are great people, friendly and accomidating. Would go again.

A perfect river front guest house!

We loved our stay. The owners were so helpful and accommodating. The cute little guest house had everything we needed for a nice holiday weekend getaway. We were able to dock our boat overnight right out front and everything was perfect! So convenient. The owners live right above but were never intrusive. Only helpful and extremely hospitable. We will be back!

Great river property

My wife and I stayed for our anniversary. Location was fantastic. Comfortable patio with great views of the river. Cozy floor plan. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Neighbors were very friendly and helpful. Good communication with the host.

We WILL stay again.

Love it! This studio apt has a dock and river as the front yard. Wonderful place to watch the river go by (or jump in). The owners live above, on ground level (there are stairs to apt), and are cordial and welcoming. Beautiful real estate!

complaining is not me but I think this complaint is valid

Well my experience was not so great. The owner of this property controls the air conditioning and does not allow the temperature to go below 78. I rented the house for 6 days and at one point the owner locked the thermostat at 80 when I tuned it down to 75. I complained via text and then he lowered it 2 degrees and locked it at 78 for the remaining 5 day. The owner texted several times for the first 2 1/2 days and actually stayed two doors down and faced his chair towards the property which made us feel uncomfortable. While we were unpacking the owner came into the house without knocking after they released the house to us 30 minutes before. It actually scared me to find her standing there when I looked up. Both owners stayed two doors down and continued to walk though the property to visit neighbors next door for 2 1/2 days which made us feel very uncomfortable. At one point he texted me at 9:00 pm saying the house internet was down and he wanted to come over and take a look. I did not see the text until the morning but around 10:00pm he sent another text saying nevermind it was fixed. He also informed us he took out the trash for us which is nice but again we were expecting privacy and did not get it for the first. 2 1/2 days because he was constantly on the premises. I've rented many vacation homes and have never experienced anything like this and it affected my enjoyment especially at night when the temperture in the house was locked at 78 which made me sweat all night for 6 nights. Could not wait to get home to my house and air conditioning I keep at 72 at night. The owner even displays on the thermastat that 82 is comfy and not to set the air lower than 78. I think he should have disclosed If you lower the thermostat below 78 he will lock it regardless what your comfort temperature is for sleeping. I lowered the temp to 75 on the first day and that is when he locked it to 80. If this sort of stuff does not bother you then yes it's a great location. I would not rent again because I like to sleep without sweating all night and I don't like the invasion of privacy and all the texts the owner sent me while I was on vacation. Again something I never experienced before and I thought he was out of line and I think my complaints are valid because we all know the river is very hot and we all like privacy to some extent.

Beautiful place with magnificent view of the river!

The guest house was terrific and the views of the Colorado River (and the mountains) were exceptional. Hosts were wonderful. A little slice of heaven. We will be back and we do recommend it for others!

Great location and great owners

My wife and I stayed 6 nights, the location was awesome the guest house was perfect for just my wife and I! The place had everything we needed plus having the private dock for our boat was amazing. Robert and Lynn the owners live upstairs and were so accommodating and just wonderful folks! We will definitely be back!
