"Most of the hotel was not well maintained. The pool had gravel in the bottom and the rooms were not very clean. The hotel needs an update."

"I love the breakfasts at Holiday Inn Express, but the room was not deep cleaned. The bathtub had orange gunk growing in the corner, the bathroom fan was filthy with dust, and it smelled musty in the room. This may be because it was a pet room. We do appreciate that they allow pets, but the smell was more musty than dog. A nice property outside the room, and just a bit of spring cleaning would make the whole property worth returning."

"Everything was good except the buffet breakfast. Food was not hardly warm if not cold. Food wasn’t good. Tasteless. Not sure how you can ruin breakfast food, but they did. They only had skim milk or 2% milk. "

"Disgusting hotel. No idea how it has a 7.8 rating. Stains on the walls, the towels and bedsheets. Sketchy outside area. You could not close the bathroom door unless you stood in the shower. The TV went out at one point. Whenever we needed help, the main office was totally empty with no employee to be found. The photos for this hotel and very misleading. I would call it a roach motel instead. I booked for 3 nights, and left after 1 night. Beware."

"There were ants in the first room, the staff was nice but provided no real solution besides a new room. The second room had mold in the bathroom doorway and you had to put up the toilet seat just to open the door (room 222). Not to mention half of the doors were open to the actual rooms, which my friend (with a different reservation) had to deal with. The window in her room was cracked as well. It’s also not well lit on the side with the gas station, it’s creepy over there at night. Don’t recommend staying here, especially as a solo traveler, and especially as a woman. There was also a small device attached to the TV that looked like a camera. I looked and the cable was not attached to the TV at all through the cable but was, like, glued to the front of it, top center. There was hair stuck to the towels that were unused and a bug jumped from the drain when I turned it on. Not to mention the weird red and black stains on the bathroom wall next to the door. My friend also had mold on her shower curtain. In conclusion, this place was unsanitary, unsafe, unkempt, and overall a weird experience."
