Escape to the Forest in this Custom Mt. Baker Home!!!
10/10 Excellent
"Great location, 30 minute drive from Mt. Baker ski area. Fully stocked kitchen. Hot tub was hot.The hot tub did have a decent amount of dirt in it. Overall, the house was pretty clean but when we checked in, there was some dirt and crumbs on the floor"
Hot tub, sauna, large open great room, spacious kitchen, pet friendly, trails.
6/10 Okay
"Nice place, clean. The beds and linens are excellent. Most things worked but were old and dated. The flatware seemed from a grade school cafeteria, pans are unusable, peeling teflon and old, sticky stains that won't scrub off. Not enough off either in any case. The silverware drawer in the dishwasher was still full of old, crusty items we were concerned about using even after washing. Premium priced but none of the associated niceties expected. A half bottle of generic shampoo and some Equate hand soap in the shower. No moisturizers, conditioners, no basket of goodies. Most of the towels were ok but some were ragged, there are too few and none large enough for tubbing. The hot tub is exposed to the street, so a big towel or robe would have been nice. The tub was clean and functional but an old model with fewer jets of little power. The sauna worked fine but is advertised as 4-person yet barely fits 3, 2 comfortably. Finally, the Mt Baker Hwy was closed soon after arrival. The host told us just before we but we couldn't change plans that late. Not blaming them but would have been nice to be offered some compensation. For the money, I will look elsewhere next time. "
Romantic Treetop Cabin near Mt Baker - Perfect Couples Hideaway with private hot Tub and Fireplace
10/10 Excellent
"Check-in instructions were easy to follow, and the staff were very responsive to questions via email or text. The accommodations were very nice, the cabin is in a very forested environment and located in a community with similar types of housing. All amenities were covered, plenty of linens and all items in the kitchen made it easy to cook meals. Would stay here again if visiting the area. "
"Josie is a top-notch host! She responded quickly to everything we needed, and took care of things that needed addressing. We came as a family of 26 for a memorial. 8 of those were children. There is a dining room with a large table and probably room for 10 to 12 open to the kitchen that had a large bar with seating for 11 and a nook with seating for 4. So, we had PLENTY of seating. The kitchen was nice and off the kitchen was a seperate room with a island and fridge which worked for us as "The gluten free space" for those who needed it in our family, and it was so helpful. Also there are 2 sitting areas, a pool table, a foosball table in finished basement and a ballroom. Our kids utilized all these areas and had a blast! The house has some things to update, but that takes time in such a large space. There were beds to accomodate all of us and beds were comfy. It met all our needs."
