Can not swim as mentioned. Only for fishing. There is a beach at a waking distance but not nice to swim in, small and weeds. Good place to fish if this is your intention. "The stone cottage had a nice view of the lake, a fire pit, big tables for games and meals with family. Very relaxing and quiet. The loons on the lake were close by--loved their calls to each other! It was clean and had a well stocked kitchen. If you have little children, the outdoor patio has a drop off that you would need to use caution with. We would definitly recommend this place. "

"Awesome property for a group of friends trying to hangout and have a good time. Owner was super helpful and understanding on various matters. Great beach access, where you can swim to various different islands and do cliff jumping. As you can see in the photo, there was also a water trampoline which the owners allowed us to use. "Owner is very friendly and spent time to make sure everything was ok. The property lacks essentials. Make sure you bring coffee, coffee filters, salt, pepper, soap and shampoo for shower etc. One hand towel in bathroom, and one toilet paper, no towels for showers and none for drying dishes etc. All of this can be fixed with a trip into Sydenham Foodland or some prior planning. The view over the lake from the deck is very nice. We had a great time. "
