"Closer to centre than I thought as don’t usually stay on that side of railway. It was a blessing as there was roadworks outside one hotel and work on the towers at another.

"The studio apartment was spacious with a kitchen, king sized bed, lounge suite, a kettle - hallejuiah, bar fridge with local wines, cleaned and fresh towels delivered every day. Airconditioning was fantastic. We could pop out pick up our mortadello, parmagiana reggiano, baguettes etc. and be able to prep a meal in the apartment. Walking distance to Bologna station if you would like to go to the Ferrari museum."

While the first room we received had an air conditioning unit that did not work and needed some repairs, the staff was quick to send someone to check it out and then quick to give us a different room.
