"Booked it same day, the room was on the 4th floor and as it was during the heatwave, was a bit warm, they did provide us with couple of fans that helped. It was a lovely room with a sofa, TV and vanity table. A nice view of trees and sunset. It was clean everywhere. "
"This hotel was really easy to get to and only a 15 minute walk to the train station that can take you straight into Cardiff. All the staff were welcoming and lovely and the room was clean and the bed was comfy. "
"This is definitely a unique property right in the center of town. It is quaint and nicely renovated. The light comes in the windows early; no curtains in our dormer windows. The shower is tiny as is the sink. But the staff is wonderful."
"Absolutely beautiful property. Very well presented and clean.
Loved the hot tub.
Quiet location with lovely hill view.
Thank you for a lovely welcoming stay."
"I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). "

10/10 Excellent
"I stayed 5nights in the cottage recently with my son & husband, it was truly great, the rooms are exactly like in the photos; it is clean and cosy with comfy beds; everything works (heating, good shower pressure, fridge, oven & smart TV). The cottage's central location is perfect for day trips e.g to Brecon Beacon's Pen y Fan, The Four Waterfalls, Caerphilly and Cardiff to name a few. The Host is lovely and replies to messages quickly, she went above and beyond to find some local attractions for us, which was appeciated. Can't really fault anything and highly recommend the cottage. "

"Stayed here during a busy concert weekend. The owner and staff working were welcoming and friendly. There is a bar on site, which is handy as there is not really much else in the immediate area except a small convenience store. Room was clean and comfortable. It's a bit of a distance from the city center but the train station is a 5 minute walk. Given it's further away I feel it provides a more inviting and local experience."
