Nice Hotel/Inn , however the bed in uncomfortable because 2 small bed joined together with a hole in the middle. No Coffee maker or refrigerator in room , even though they said it has a restaurant there is none ,

I was welcomed by the owner. I didn’t realize that the family lived at the property. There was a table where two girls were doing homework. The mother was sitting in the couch. My room appeared clean. Went to bed only to be woken up by screaming. People were having an argument downstairs and there was loud music playing. This went on until past 4am. Next morning, I wake up to a dead cockroach on the floor. I tried to talk to the owner several times during the day. I was left with an attendant who only spoke Dutch, so I couldn’t communicate with her. She was pleasant and apologetic for not being able to communicate. Since I arrived at night, I didn’t well where I was staying until I decided to get some food. The area is a little sketchy. I came back to the room and locked myself there. I came downstairs on my third attempt, to find the owner sleeping on the couch. I asked if I could only pay for 2 nights instead of 4 since I didn’t have a good night. He acted surprised about the noise when he knew full well about their noise. He told me that I had to pay for the entire stay since he needed to pay the Expedia group. He also said: let’s see about tonight. What? I contacted customer service and they tried to reach out to him and they got no answer. I decided to leave the place having to pay for the full stay. I preferred to feel safe and not worry about a cockroach crawling into my ear.

The property owner and housekeeping staff were amazing! The property seems to well kept outside, clean and is walking distance to town. The rooms are small but perfect. The beds are two single beds put together and it made sleeping very uncomfortable. I read this in a lot of the other reviews but I didn't really believe it... it's true. Since they are single beds and not twin there's not a lot of room to roll around before falling in the gap. Still a good value for a clean room and walking distance to town. Good wifi and very welcoming property owners.

Nice little hotel
I enjoyed my stay and as a woman alone felt safe and comfortable. The hotel is well located within walking distance of lots of restaurants. The rooms are modern and clean. I would stay there again.

My name is Stefan Montouth. My stay at this Hotel was not the best. The bed was sunken in the middle and was uncomfortable. There was a lot of noise in the hallway during the day. One of my towels was not very clean.

Comfy stay
Clean and comfy stay, but ask for a room on the top floor for a better view and to get further away from the noise of the bar/restaurant in front of the hotel. The hotel is nicely renovated but sadly the doors don't isolate well.

It was close to airport and had really good airport shuttle service. Great if you are transiting. Actual hotel itself was clean but more like a 2-3 star motel.

A beautiful hotel.
The Hotel was excellent. The staff were friendly. The price for the night was good. But we felt very much ripped off by the shuttle to and back from the airport. At a price of $70 USD per person it was almost $50 more then what the other hotels in the area. Because of that I would not recommend, we felt that price was unfair.

Nice hotel, not far from downtown, cool staff, Ok wifi. However I prepaid my stay via Orbitz but the staff couldn't find out for 2 days and was asking me to pay (again), I had to call Orbitz and forward my receipt. Not sure what happens but there's a big miscomminication between Expedia / Orbitz and the hotel

Great Staff
Staff went out of their way to be helpful as possible. Gave local travel and food tips. Were concerned about my safety. Arranged taxis too and from the airport. Only reason for 4 rather than 5 starts was flakey Wi-Fi which apparently is a common issue in Suriname. I was here for work and this caused some stress for me when I had to join meetings. Note bad all the time, just inconsistent. Staff moved me to a lower floor room when I first arrived as I could not get any Wi-Fi on the third floor. They are working on improving the Wi-Fi, hopefully it will not be an issue in the future. Room was great with good facilities and A/C. There was always staff around 24/7 to help with any questions.

Bon accueil chaleureux, Patron sympathique , personnel à l'écoute. Aucun problème de ce côté. Nous avons trouvé regrettable qu'il n'y ait même pas un petit frigo dans la chambre alors que nous sommes dans un pays tropical et amenés à boire à n'importe quelle heure. Le patron nous a dit que c'était normal vu le prix payé ou alors il aurait fallu réserver une chambre plus chère. Bon! incompréhension Vraiment dommage..Pour moi, c'est basique un frigo dans une chambre d'hôtel...

Great location best deal to sabe money. Roons are small but clean and new. Lift did not work but taking ateos to second or Thievy flojos wasnt really an issue and they Assist me. I was greated by the owner, got discounts for breakfast. Staff is very kind and frieldly.

Dit hotel is een aanrader.
Het is er zilverschoon en het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamers zijn wat smal maar goed ingericht en niet onbelangrijk een comfortabel bed. De omgeving is stil waardoor er 's nachts bijna geen geluid is. Het hotel zit in een goede buurt. Beneden is een hotelbar. Niet heel druk maar wel gezellig. Om de hoek zitten verschillende goede restaurantjes. Het centrum is lopend goed bereikbaar.

Goede en nette hotel
Relatief nieuw hotel in de Costerstraat. Prima bed en moderne kamerinrichting. Hotel is kleinschalig en niet druk. Iets te ver van de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden af, maar met een taxi ben je zo overal. niet een hele gezellige straat verder maar prima uitvalsbasis voor een paar dagen. Personeel doet z’n best om je het naar de zin te maken.

Vriendelijk personeel en eigenaar. De kamer is zoals weergegeven op de foto's. Ruim van opzet, brandschoon en met een goed werkende airco. Het hotel zit in de stad en is dichtbij belangrijke bezienswaardigheden.
