"Das war das Beste Ferienhaus in dem wir jemals zu Gast waren. Die sehr fürsorglichen und freundlichen Gastgeber, die Lage in dem kleinen ruhigen Dorf in den Bergen, der nur ca. 1,5km entfernte Strand: Perfekt für einen idyllischen und authentischen Urlaub auf Kreta.Im Umkreis von 3 km gibt es ausreichend Gastronomie und einen kleinen Supermarkt, und wer noch mehr Auswahl an Gastronomie und einen großen Supermarkt benötigt, kann nach Plakias fahren. Ein Mietwagen ist allerdings sehr empfehlenswert."

"I stayed at the Sunrise for a week and have no idea how it was given 3.7 stars. The price of the stay was WONDERFUL for my budget! The location was PERFECT, be it right next to the sea. Manolia the customer service representative was above & beyond helpful. The best part of my stay was the 8€ breakfast! They did a WONDERFUL job with it and helped me stay below budget for my food costs. The room was clean & smelling good. There only one negative thing... and it comes from the customer expecring a Ritz Carlton experience in the farming portion of Crete. Well Worth It. Pay the 8€ for the breakfast and it'll save you 30€ from eating out."
