The best area to stay in Parakopi is the main village itself, which offers a blend of convenience and authentic island life.

The main village of Parakopi is built amphitheatrically on a hillside, providing stunning views of the Aegean Sea. Its narrow, winding streets are dotted with traditional Cycladic houses, small shops, and tavernas. The central square, often referred to as "Plateia," is a natural gathering spot, usually featuring a historic church and a few local cafes.

For couples seeking a romantic and relaxed getaway, staying within the main village is ideal. You'll find boutique hotels and guesthouses offering privacy and exceptional views. Evenings can be spent enjoying dinner at a family-run taverna, followed by a quiet stroll through the picturesque alleys, often leading to a viewpoint for stargazing.

Families will also find the main village accommodating. Many accommodations are within walking distance of the village's amenities, including bakeries for breakfast treats and local markets for essentials.
