Great time in Paradise

First visit to the UP in winter. A lot of snow and cold weather but the home was warm and inviting. I would love to stay at this house again. Great communication with the owner and very nice place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Dale’s place. The location was amazing. The house was clean and well equipped. Definitely recommend it for someone who wants a peaceful place to stay right on the shore of Lake Superior.

Great place to stay

Dale was great! Home was very accommodating for our family trip. Conveniently located to many sites for day trips exploring the upper peninsula. Beautiful sunrises in the morning and the highlight for me was watching a lake otter play in the water.

Great Location and Peaceful Setting

We really enjoyed our stay. Very spacious home, clean and comfortable. Loved the back covered deck and views of Whitefish Bay. The firepit area was great as we enjoyed sitting by the fire overlooking the bay. The location was perfect for seeing the various sites. Dale was a great host and answered any questions we had. Great stay.

My husband, sister and I loved our stay! The house was spotless and the view is spectacular. We were looking for a quiet place to get away and breathe and that’s exactly what we got. Very cozy and well appointed. Perfect!

Wish we could just sit by the lake all summer. So relaxing and peaceful. The house is so cute and had all the comforts of home. Ate at the smokehouse and the falls. Good food. We had great time!!

Beautiful Place! Very clean!

Spent the weekend snowmobiling with my wife and our friends. The place was absolutely beautiful and clean. Everything advertised and more. Thank you Dale for opening up your beautiful cottage for others. We will most definitely be in touch for another stay. .

Beautiful home

We stayed in this beautiful, peaceful home for a week. It was very clean and close to whitefish point, Taquamemon falls, Crisp point lighthouse and many more beautiful places to visit. Or just sit back and injoy you time at this beautiful home reading a book or watching the water on the porch. I would definitely recommend this home. The owners are very helpful and kind

Great view

This is an adorable home with timeless and some modern touches. We stayed here as a home base in Paradise, to easily drive to Taquamenon falls and to see the bear ranch. The location was great. The serene private setting was just what we wanted. Waking up to the view of the lake was amazing. Be aware that there is no safe way down to the sand from the yard. The firepit was nice. We were able to walk up to a restaurant (though it is on a busy road). Overall a very good stay!

Fantastic Home!

Home was very clean and has lots of amenities. Newer appliances and grill made eating in easy. The location is great! The view does not disappoint. The sunrises are amazing. We loved spending time on the back porch and next to the fire pit. We watched the lake for hours! The home is close to town so you can grab a meal or extra supplies. Our teenagers didn’t want to leave! If that doesn’t speak for its excellence I don’t know what will. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home.

Great View

On the positive side, the home’s updates and décor are lovely, the views phenomenal, the deck and bonfire set up well done, and the closets had lots of hangers! However, despite the positive VRBO reviews, the overall cleanliness was disappointing. The closets held a good amount of clothing, something we’ve never experienced with other rentals. The refrigerator’s ice maker wasn’t working. When we texted the owner, we were told we’d have to make the ice ourselves as the maker wasn’t hooked up. (The ice maker was immediately deleted from the VRBO’s description). While cute to look at, the tiny metal chairs at the dining table were extremely uncomfortable to use for any length of time. The only drawers in any of the bedrooms were in two bedside tables in the larger upstairs bedroom. Both were filled with crumpled pajamas. That said, the home’s positive points can’t be denied. We had a great time during our stay.

A great location with a great view of whitefish bay. Relaxing listening to the water roll in. Main suite was very roomy with the sitting room looking out to the bay.
