We truly enjoyed our time at the Black Pearl. The space is comfortable & stylish. The extra touches were lovely (even the scents of the hand soaps & reed diffuser were to our taste!) & we felt right at home. It’s well equipped overall. Highly recommend!

Located conveniently close to the falls. The room was large and very clean. From the first seconds my wife and I stepped into it we immediately stated we would stay there again no question. The property offered everything we would need and two smart TV’s with decent internet

The Black Pearl

We enjoyed our stay, we were close to everything we wanted to see. The place was nice and clean and had everything we needed. We were able to cook out on the grill and have a campfire. Thank you for your hospitality!

A Great place to stay!

This place was perfect for our needs! Its very clean, modern, up to date. The hosts are very responsive and kind in answering any questions! Would love to stay here again if I'm in the area. Its by the main road but also very quiet and quaint. There was a propane grill in the back and a fire pit. Super nice!

Very nice property. Comfortable bed. Nice amenities. Hooks on bathroom door need fixed, but overall, was very good experience. Owner is working hard to make it work.

Great base for hiking and seeing Falls

Black Pearl has to be the best spot to stay in Paradise! It’s unassuming from the outside, but cozy and filled with everything you need on the inside! Fully equipped up-to-date kitchen, open to living area with comfy couch, tv, warm electric fireplace/heater and kitchen table. Separate bedroom also has an electric fireplace/heater with comfy bed. We didn’t use the backyard and fire pit, but it’s a nice addition, with wood provided. If you come to see the Falls or Whitefish Point, then this is where you need to stay! Dinner at The Inn, around the corner is a must - everything fresh from the whitefish to the amazing desserts!

Our room at the Black Pearl was nice and we enjoyed our stay. It was clean and quaint with a well stocked kitchen. It was close to the activities we wanted to do - The Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum and Tahquamenon Falls. There was also a great restaurant just down the street. We had some issues getting to the right channel to watch our favorite football, but the owner was very responsive to our questions.

Perfect locale and set up for our short stay. Place was clean with a comfortable bed and cute decor. Very minor area for improvement is communication on check in and check out, there was no information provided through VRBO, once I reached out stating I hadn’t received this info a couple hours prior to check in Jay was quick to reply and text the info. In an area with poor cell phone service getting this info sooner would have been helpful.

Property was amazing, had all the necessities we needed, a home away from home :) Property owners were very pleasant. We drove 6 hours to see the falls and definitely would come stay here again. Thank you for making our trip comfortable.

Base camp

We headed up to Paradise because it was close to Tahquamenon falls, an hour from Munising for kayaking Pictured Rocks, then meeting up with 1124 other mini coopers for Mini's on the Mack. Lots of fun!

I think that this place was recently built or renovated. They did a great job. Love the decor, bathroom, fireplaces, and kitchen area. There were plenty of towels/linens, and the kitchen was well equipped. The owner/property manager was super easy to work with and friendly.There are still a few things that need to be finished up (back patio is ready to be poured; slide glass door wouldn't lock; we couldn't get the remotes for the fireplaces to work; struggled to figure out what the switches by the door to the bedroom operated). These are all little things that I'm guessing the owner may have already addressed. These things are minor and shouldn't keep someone from enjoying this lovely place.

Cute and quiet place

Great little place with everything you need - all new. It also has an ice machine and a dishwasher. Quiet place just outside of town (walking distance to downtown shops and food). The hosts are wonderful, quick to respond and easy to work with. Highly recommend.
