"Beautiful property, great hotel staff. The room was comfortable and the whole property is peaceful and inviting!"

"Loved everything about the property in general. The resort itself is beautiful and the view from the oceanside is breathtaking (directly across from Moorea). We saw a school of dolphins playing the first morning we arrived. The infinity pool is also beautiful. Did not like the toilet in the bedroom. It was a strange oblong/rectangle shape, too high off the ground and extremely uncomfortable. There was a sink in the toilet room that was too tiny, and the towel ring was close to the floor and toilet. Quite odd and not super sanitary. Otherwise, the room itself was very spacious and clean. Nice little kitchenette, although it was advertised there would be a "full-size" refrigerator and it was only a mini fridge. Showerhead had a lot of mineral buildup and the water did not go down the drain very quickly, leading to a lot of pooling of water on the floor. Breakfast buffet was decent (included - not sure if I would pay extra because it is the same every single day). Lots of mosquitoes...bring bug spray and itch cream! 8.5/10 would recommend."

"We stayed at the Princess Lokelani room. It was steps from the water. We saw a manta ray there and lots of fish. (Note that there is no actual beach as the whole island is enclosed by a coral reef). The hotel is very unique and has a stellar breakfast that they bring to your room. We loved the common area, it's very distinctive and comfortable. We borrowed canoes and found the manta and shark area ~10 mins away. There are boats and tours that travel from all over the island just to go there. The hotel is close to solid restaurants and has parking. Main drawback is mosquitos given the room is surround by greenery - come prepared."

"The coral reefs in the lagoon are amazing. So much marine life to snorkel right outside your room. Prices for drinks and food are too high, compare to the quality. "

"The small details were what gave this resort an extra star: flowers, cold gardenia scented compresses at check-in, necklaces at check-out. Great location, smaller property so everything was close, beautiful grounds and pool, great foodb& drinks. Choice of beach vs over water villas. We loved it!"

"Wonderful location, super quiet and very nice staff. Direct access to the lagoon with kayaks and Sups available. Breakfast included, on the beach with your feet in the water. That's where I'll go again next time. Mauruuru Roa. "
