My wife and I have stayed in many hotels in Philippines, England, Netherlands and the USA. This property has exceeded all expections in all areas. The friendliness and attention to detail far surpasses hotels charging 3 times or more. Kudos to all the staff. We have and continue to receive top notch service, meals and assistance with local travel. To top off the stay, is the setting with palms, pool and lush greenery. The owner is congratulated on a having a great resort welcoming and friendly resort. You will love it.

The hotel is kind of like a resort. Its got a good restaurant we enjoyed eating at with reasonable prices for Panglao, a free breakfast would have made it amazing. Its far from the beach and Tagbilaran but it's quiet with a great pool that makes it great for chilling after a day of exploring.

The room is very basic. Bed mattress is of the cheapest quality possible, and the pillow like stone. they did not even provide a blanket, just polyester bedsheet! No room safe (the room attendant told us they "lost the key of the safe") We asked for additional pillow they will not provide (even though afterward we got one more pillow) Washroom is old, plumbing beaten up and rusted, dirt marks everywhere. the restaurant food is of poor quality. the service staff is uncourteous, they never smiled, makes you feel totally unwelcome. I brought in my coffee press with me and asked for hot water, they told me its not allowed. The only nice persons there were the check-in administrative personnel. Finally, the beach and restaurants in Panglao (Alona beach area) are at least 20 minutes scooter ride. Very far. If you don’t have a scooter, you will be paying lots of money for transportation. I would recommend avoiding this place altogether. It doesn’t even deserve two stars. I have been to many hotels in the Philippines, this is the worst, mot unwelcome place I have visited.

On the other hand, our blanket are to be requested in the front office as well as the towels or if you want extra pillows. Furthermore, we pride ourselves that the cleanliness of the hotel is our top priority and as well as the Foods quality, we were very sorry this was not reflected during your stay. On the other hand, we agree with you that it is unacceptable that you felt unwelcome during your stay. And so, regarding in our service staff uncourteousness, we will surely bring this to our attention thus, please know that it is our policy here, that bringing foods and drinks inside the Restaurant is strictly prohibited, sorry if this gave you a negative impression. Our goal is to give the needs and meet the guest expectations as quickly as possible and we are always working to make our process even more efficient. Don't avail tours and tricab
Such a shame that they overcharge for some services. I suggest you look for tour options in Alona beach rather than using the service of the hotel - they add unreasonable amount on top of the actual cost of tours. They also get kickbacks for tricabs, so if you find a tricab in the area, I suggest to just deal with them directly rather than the hotel.

Fastest WiFi in The Philippines, which was excellent because we were working remotely during weekdays. I tested the connection in our room at over 80 MPS, which was 5x anywhere else we’ve been in the islands. Staff is excellent. Food was great, and the pool is wonderful. The only negative were the ants that were everywhere and made lying by the pool very uncomfortable.

Superb!
This place is absolutely perfect. Big spacy rooms, really good wifi both in rooms and restaurant. Good food. Great big pool with kids parts. Good transportation department. Friendly and nice staff. Pricewise way better than it cost, as soon as infrastructure is all in place prices should go up. Can absolutely recommend this resort, without hesitation. Top notch place.

Excellent location if you like quiet nights. Only 15 mins to Alona beach if you need more touristy stuff. Excellent food. Never had a bad meal. Staff was beyond great, and willing to help in any way.

This was our second visit this year. The staff were the greatest. So friendly and helpful with any need or requests. The restaurant staff was beyond wonderful. The resort is top notch and the price is unbelievable. The swimming pool is hands down the biggest and best in Panglao. Also the new concrete road leading there is almost complete and that’s a new big plus. The staff will call a tricycle to pick you up anytime you want to go to the beach and it’s only 200 peso. Fantastic property.

Only the foods that I love but overall I it is really poor. Like their night guard he will tell you that its time to close the pool as they gonna put chlorine to the point that its not 9pm yet. And if your having fun at the poil area we need to minimize our laughed as some tenants fall asleep around 8 pm. To think that we as a guest knows what their rules and regulations and for me you don't need to tell to your guest to minimize our laugh because we knew what time and we're not the only guests at the hotel. There are some of complaints that I complained about there shower,before I booked the hotel first thing I need to checked is the shower if they have water heater but they don't have and they never do an action for what my concern. If they lost an item in the room it is so quick for them to have an action as they are scared to pay,to think think that they didn't have any stuffed tgat they lost. Like a big basket like a serving tray. When I arrived at the hotel they don't have it inside the room but they are so quick to asked me as a guest which I can understand as tgey don't want to pay for it but my point is they are not fast to fixed my concerns in my room but they are so fast to ask if there are missing Some of the stuff are rudes like if the rooms open they just gonna enter the room to checked a tiny complaint without knocking the door and they won't approach you that they are the person to checked the tiny complaints and leave without letting you know.

Dear Ms. J, Thank you so much for mentioning how good our food in the restaurant was. As per rule of the management was explained during your arrival and was clearly stated in a printed rules and regulation placed in the table we expect you to obey and understand it like some of our guest. 1. Pool time- starts at 8 am - 9 pm; the guard strongly believes that you had exceeded from the time allotted by the management. Your attention will not be called if you’d obey. 2. Having fun is different from being noisy, to the point that the one living from a far can hear it. 3. Housekeeping fixed every complaint that you had. They come, three times in your room since after they tried to fixed it, as they comeback someone moved the regulator that makes hot and cold showers not functioning. So it is inappropriate to say that no one takes action with your complaints. 4. During check in and check out, all rooms are checked to see if there are lacking items. A day before your check out you had a room cleaning and a tray for minibar items was filled with your things. As per check out, your attention was called in a respectful way to ask for the missing item. And you deny it. As we believe that guest reviews is a great opportunity to know our guest think about our overall service it is also our platform to defend our establishment in some guest who are just making wrong speculations.

Best value for money, awesome pool and crowd
Definitely exceeded my expectations. Despite its low price, amenities were 5 star. It was very private and quiet and had a full service bar and restaurant. Wifi was strong. Only downside was the bumpy road and the distance to the beach, which didn't really bother us since it was easy to get tricycles anyway. Highly recommended

If your idea of heaven on vacation is isolation and a giant sized swimming pool, then this is the place for you😊. The rooms are large and comfortable but there are no complimentary toiletries, no tea making kettle and complimentary water is at water fountains that are quickly emptied by other guests and you have to request it gets refilled. The restaurant is excellent and not too pricey. The portions reflect German ownership of the site, being generous. The gym is equipped with a small range of dumbells, a barbell, 2 work stations of some vintage, and cardio exercise machines. We used all and especially the table tennis. A weak point,and I say this as an instructor and fitness expert, there needs to be aircon in the room. Serious training cannot be undertaken without serious health risks in the high temperatures we experienced there. The pool is marvellous but again a vefy serious lmissikn is the lavk of life guards. At night time as the pool lights switch to darker colours it was impossible to see people underwater or on the surface. The access track is very rough and it takes more than 10 minutes to reach the shops or beach in Panglao village itself. All in all, we will revisit, but come better prepared for the situation. Nice accommodating team😊

This is the most wonderful place I have stayed since I began to visit the Philippines 4 years ago. What can I say, simply world class excellence. The room, the staff, the pool and especially the food. Reasonable pricing. Usually I spend 4-5 days in Cebu to get past the jet lag, but for sure now I will take the short fast ferry over to Bohol to stay here. Exceptional!!😀😀

Enjoyed staying here the resort is about 7-10 minutes by motorcycle to the downtown area. The pool was nice and the staff was very accommodating. Mainly German style food with only a few Filipino dishes. Definitely would come back for a night if I just planned on staying at the resort. The laundry option here is awesome.

The staff were perfect. Beverly and everyone there were creating an amazing time for me with a 3 week trip. They helped me plan hotels, transportation, and even made phone calls for me and my friend on my behalf. I will go back specifically for the staff. The rooms were big and comfortable. The AC was amazing. I wish they had a microwave in the room but the restaurant was so good down stairs it didn’t matter. The view from the porch was peaceful and the pool was beautiful. One warning - the road into sunshine is the only really really negative aspect. It’s rough- and not a little rough but like climbing a jagged mountain of giant glass rough. But I’m telling you, if you can handle a 5-10 minute bumpy ride a day- this place is a gem! Thank you for the beautiful memories and stay ❤️💙💋

Staff were very friendly and kindly helped with contacting drivers for vehicles or tricycle pickup. Office sells basic supplies and snacks. Bar soap, towels, and toilet paper are provided. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner or purchased at the little store in the office. The twin beds and pillows in our room were made of some sort of foam. I slept so well- pleasantly surprised at the comfort. If you get cold at night, ask for another second sheet. I slept fine, but my travel partner needed an extra sheet and didn't sleep well the first night due to feeling cold. The swimming pool was nice. The restaurant had a decent selection of food and was very convenient (especially considering the dirt road and the distance to nearby restaurants and shops for fruits/snacks) Currently there's a long dirt road leading to the hotel, which will eventually get paved when the airport and on going hotel construction are complete. Construction noise was a little distracting when we played lazed in the hotel room during the late morning/afternoon hours.
