"We stayed for three nights after our hiking trip and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The breakfast buffet was outstanding — a huge selection of fresh, local dishes that felt truly farm-to-table quality. We loved it so much that we decided to try the dinner buffet too, and it was just as delicious.
We also enjoyed the spa services and one of the local tours offered by the hotel — both were excellent. The staff deserves special mention: every single person we met was pleasant, smiling, and genuinely cared about our comfort. They consistently went above and beyond to make sure every guest was happy.
The gorgeous morning views were the perfect bonus to an already amazing stay. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort, great food, and exceptional hospitality!"
"We had a really great time at Mystic Mountain. The service was awesome and the receptionist, Ms Gurung was super friendly and helpful. Our room had a nice big patio which we loved. However the shower room felt a bit small. If the weather is clear, you get an amazing view of the mountains and clouds right from the room. We were lucky to catch a perfect sunrise and stunning mountain views from our patio. It was absolutely beautiful.
We arrived at Mystic Mountain by bike and unexpectedly ran out of gas. There wasn’t a gas station nearby but Ms. Gurung kindly guided us to a place in the market area which is about 10 minutes away from the hotel, where gas is sold in bottles. That truly saved our day. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely come back again."
"Love the views here! Staff were all incredible. Food was good and the views lovely.
Rooms were beautifully appointed. A little noisy (due to a large group staying as well) but not too late.
Photos do not do it justice "
"The staff were brilliant especially at the front desk reception and at the resturants. Other hotels got to learn about hospitality from them. The hotel is less worried about tips but more for the quality of service which is unlikely in most hotels of today. "
"This is an out of the way, rugged and basic property. No pool. But they had a trampoline and a tree swing for the kids. Very quiet. Beautiful views of Lantang region. Note: you need a 4-wheel-drive vehicle with high clearance to get there. The last kilometer or so is unpaved, bumpy, muddy, and narrow. Parking is in a small dirt lot with a gate that is locked at night."
