What a nice surprise for a $49 a night room off season on a random middle of the week night! Super clean comfortable and safe. I would have been satisfied spending $100 a night for this property.

Corridor is having odd smell. Breakfast options are not good and not tasty. First given room has some problem with toilet on complaining about it staff immediately changed my room which was good. Walkable distance for all shopping and dining, since it is in middle of city.

Full Overhaul Needed but Friendly Staff
Friendly staff and greeting for me at check-in. However, that’s where the good needed. Very poor cleaning (only towels changed if asked) had to request daily cleaning by head housekeeper. Room wasn’t vacuumed since last guest. Several stains on walls and doors - looked like food! Microwave was not cleaned since last guest - burnt cheese and beans food throughout! Floors are warped and uneven. Fitness room seemed ok but no cleaning supplies and closed my last 2 days of week stay.

Did not want to give me the room at 11.00 pm when I went for check in. She said room is under maintenance. I ask the reason for maintenance and she said bathroom needs attention. I said let me check if I can deal with that, as it was 11.00 pm. she gave me more reasons as room is dirty and they cannot allot. I said accomodate me in other hotel or upgrade me. She said Not availabel. I asked her to give me in writting that she is refusing accomodation and she wanted to reach out Manager or owner. I went to use rest room, returning she offered my a room. Their was thin sheet as blanket and no towels after checking in, I requested her and she had only thin bed sheet and 2 medium size towels to offer. I felt she can also be more courteous. I WOULD DEMAND REFUND FOR THE ROOM

Staff looked like they were dragged in off the street. No one cared about their own appearance and no uniforms. Shade in room 123 did not work. It was electric with a remote but the cord was disconnected and could not be reconnected. Then the television had been tampered with to the point where 2 different employees could not make it find channels. We suggested a room swap after an hour of troubles. 10 minutes later we had packed up, went to the desk, and got fully cancelled.

Needs to be removed from the site. no maid service, bed sheets were dirty couldnt get new ones, towels were dirty, had to go by our own tolit paper, tvs did not work. Pictures did not match room at all

This property did not match up with other Country Inn and Suites we have stayed in and we were very disappointed in its quality. Multiple hardware items were broken and missing in our bathroom, bedroom carpet was sticky, bathroom stall had prior guests hair on walls and we never received maid service to replace our very worn-out bath towels. We actually shortened our stay at this hotel because of these issues. We would advise guests to look elsewhere for a hotel in Panama City for a comfortable, clean stay. It was not worth the money we paid.

Terry,Thank you for your feedback. I am concerned about the comment about the breakfast being non existent. We have been serving our hot breakfast since Memorial Day weekend, consisting of items such as: Biscuits and sausage gravy, Sausage links and potatoes or scrambled eggs, waffles, cereals, oatmeal, fruit, etc. On weekends, the breakfast starts at a later time than weekdays. If you would like to discuss your stay and concerns in more detail, please feel free to contact me.

After checking in, we went to our room and discovered that it had not been cleaned. The bed was unmade, there was garbage in the room and unflushed urine in the toilet. During our 4 day stay, one day we never received new towels nor did they pick up our trash. Our bed sheets were never done during our entire stay. We never received an apology.

It was very convenient and the staff was nice. But the alarm clock didn't work, not all the lights worked, the coffee machine was broke and no regular coffee just decaf. Then we asked the cleaning people for towels and they said they would bring us some which they never did.

The staff was very friendly, but the room wasn’t. The furniture was dirty, the carpets were filthy (left our feet black) and the faucet in the shower was broken. The grandkids slept on the hide-a-bed and we could feel the springs poking through the mattress. It was also very small with little storage room. Definitely not convenient for a family of six.it was also too far from all the attractions. We checked out 4 days early and found something closer to the beach.

Disappointed
We got there at 2:15 no one was at the desk then when she finally came she said no rooms were available. About 15 minutes later I’m waiting in the lobby and a new person on duty with the original next to her said nothing to me and the new one checked in a guy. My person was just too lazy since she was probably going off duty. Will never stay there again and breakfast was garbage.

We try to not allow anyone to check in to the facility on busy weekends until all rooms in that particular category are cleaned and inspected by our Housekeeping team. The second person may have had a room type that had already been verified. I am sorry that the young lady seemed preoccupied with other things as we do not want any guest feeling "left out". We are diligently trying to obtain our seating license to be able to serve the hot foods that we are generally known for. Since the hotel closed in 2018 after Hurricane Michael, our city has revised a lot of the codes related to that license but we are in the final phase of completion.Please do not let this negative experience give you an overall dissatisfied opinion of this Country Inn and our brand as a whole. When we registered it took at least 10 minutes then was given a room not made up. We have stayed at Country Inns before and have been happy at the quality of the motel- the bed linen and towels. Our shower leaked all over. We reported it and it didn’t get fixed. There was only 1 table lamp in the first room so very dark. Wi-Fi- we had to sign in every time Overall, very disappointed. I will add staff was very friendly

The hotel was understaffed. Room wasn't ready at 5:00 pm. And the bedding was only had sheets, no blanket. Plenty of restaurants within a short drive.

The property is nice along with the staff. The room wasnt clean, French fries ect.. in the corners and under the furniture, food and candy on stained sheets. Other than that ,it would've been a nice stay.

Average budget hotel but bed was hard as a rock
Decent economy hotel, staff was friendly but the bed was hard as a rock and pillows were stiff as cardboard. Wifi was average for emails.
