When we arrived the unit was not cleaned to my expectations and there were a few other issues that I wanted to report so they didn’t think we did it. I texted and they immediately responded and sent someone out to clean the floors the next day. They still were pretty dirty but I just left it. The kitchen was not very well appointed and the outlets didn’t work. So we couldn’t run the toaster or the can opener. Bedding could have been more appointed as well, just a sheet and a very thin coverlet and two pillows. There were extra blankets but they were just rolled up in the top of the closet and didn’t look clean. The bathrooms need a good cleaning of the grout and the tracks of the doors. I communicated all of this to the corporate office of southern vacation rentals, because it’s a shame. The view was great and just a good cleaning, some updates and additional supplies in the kitchen and bedding and this could be a great rental.
