The Somerset condo complex is a well-kept, hidden gem located directly across the street from the beach and public beach access. Our top floor location is PERFECT! No one stomping around on your ceiling -- breathtaking view! We are 100% Owner Managed & Maintained -- You work directly with us!

This 2BR/2BA Somerset condo rental has a great coastline view of the Gulf of Mexico We can accomodate 4 adults and 2 kids. The condominium has a sliding glass door from the Living room that lead to a private balcony with awesome view of the beach and Gulf. Brand new king bed with a memory foam mattress in the master, a queen in the 2nd bedroom, and two full baths. This unit features many recent upgrades, including new stainless-steel appliances, flat screen TVs, and upgraded bedding, and tile flooring throughout. Other features of this unit include a full-size refrigerator, cook-top stove and oven, microwave, and dishwasher, along with all the dishes, pots and utensils needed for guests to prepare home cooked meals. The dining room area has seating for 6 people. The living room has a TV and DVD player for guest's entertainment pleasure. The living area also has extra sleeping space with a sleeper sofa and a recliner. To make it easy for guests to keep in touch while away from home, we offer complimentary wireless internet.

  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

If you're searching for a convenient location near the beach, restaurants, and general stores, Somerset is the perfect place to stay. Everything is just a short walk away. The balcony offers a stunning view of the beach. The unit we rented was exceptionally clean and provided ample space for our family of five.

Perfect

We booked last minute for my birthday. Everything was as described in listing. So clean. I don't think we've stayed at a vrbo so clean. So convenient. Right across the road from the beach. Had a couple of minor issues but owner was quick to respond. Would definitely stay here again. The main issue was not enough proper lighting in parking area. But will still stay here again!

The place was nice but the couch needs replacing. We were able to see & hear the ocean. Watched our teenage daughters walk across to the beach access. Nice area. When we arrived & seen the biker bar next door there was a little concern but honestly it never got to loud for us. Great place to stay pretty much right on the beach.

I use reviews, so I want to do my best to give a fair review.PROS: •The view was beautiful.•The beach was right across the street.CONS:•The listing doesn't mention that there are two flights of stairs. This is not ideal for people with mobility / health issues,•I am not sure why I paid a cleaning fee as it was not clean when we arrived. I had to go to the store to purchase supplies to clean the counters as we put something down and there were black rings. This was not a little dust. Before we even went to the beach, my teen swept the kitchen area and clumps of sand were in the dust pan. •I have been staying in VRBO’s in over 20 years was the worst kitchen I have found. One skillet had a handle that wobbled constantly. The other skillet was missing a second handle and beveled in the middle which made it difficult to cook the food properly. One pot holder, one mixing bowl – that is the extent of the kitchenware. •The place states that it sleeps 6: we were given with one washcloth in each of the two bathrooms. Four regular forks and one small fork. Sleeps six, but has a total of five forks. We had someone for dinner one night and I had to use a spoon to eat my chicken so the guest didn’t.•The dryer needs replaced or fixed. It took 3 runs to get 4 towels to dry them.PRO or CON:•The condo is right next to a bar so it is very loud until midnight or so. If you are looking for a party atmosphere, this is a pro. If you are not, this is a con. This didn’t bother us.

Close to the beach, excellent view of the beach from the balcony. Beach is literally across the street and down the access point (45) from the rental. Two parking spaces are included (we only needed one). It has two separate bedrooms, one with a bathroom inside and a king size bed, the other with a large queen with a bathroom right outside the door. Beds are extremely comfortable. There are hairdryers in each bathroom. There is an iron, ironing board, vacuum, broom and mop, stacked washer/dryer, dishwasher and nice refrigerator with ice maker and a newer flat top electric stove. We did have a bit of an issue with the refrigerator when we first arrived. There was a stainless steel bowl with water dripping into it on the top shelf. My brother discovered that the refrigerator door seal was pulled out at the bottom. He pushed it back in and all was fine for a while but later I found it pulled out again. When I pushed it back in I discovered it was quite sticky. After cleaning it well it seemed OK for the rest of our stay, but I did let the manager know via email. The patio doors were also quite dirty but I had bought window cleaner and paper towels to clean the rental car windows (the air from the gulf messed them up) so I cleaned them and they were fine for our stay. The front bedroom windows could use cleaning outside. The condo itself was clean and comfortable although the couch needs replaced. We had a wonderful time there!
