"Specifically chose this hotel for its advertised "ocean view." Was put in a second floor room (5 floors) above a TGIF restaurant with only glimpses of the ocean above the restaurant and through the trees. After complaining was put in exactly the same spot just one floor higher. There was no further support I guess I was a "problem guest.""

"My girlfriend and I had a great 3-day stat at the Principe hotel in Feb 2026 for a phenomenal price. The hotel was very nice, quite and clean with large rooms. We actually got moved right away to a far larger room (for no charge) because the A/C in our first room was not working properly. The staff could not have been nicer. The location of the property in the nice and safe Congrejo neighborhood was great, with plenty of good restaurants steps away. In truth, the Principe was one of the best stays/deal I have ever had in my travels. "
