"Very friendly staff, beautiful room, gave wonderful recommendations for local food, and helped us secure a driver to Naples airport for early the next day. They even packed us a take away breakfast that was ready for us when our driver arrived, since we had to leave before breakfast. Highly recommend!"

"The only reason I gave the staff 3 stars was because one staff member was excellent and that was Fabio the staff member who was just ok was Elena. Fabio went above and beyond to answer our questions and get us what we needed. Elena seemed inexperienced and did not go out her way to help us. She simply answered “I think so” or “I don’t know “ I even had to ask her to look something up for us because she was just going to say she didn’t know and that was it. It also could have something to do with her no being able to communicate in English that well. I think this should be a requirement for someone working at the front desk. Also we could not even open our door to look at the view because people were smoking by the front of the hotel and the smoke was rising up into our room. If this is a no smoking hotel something needs to be done to keep the smoke away or we should have been given another room."

My only criticism was the breakfast which definitely wasn’t 4*. Very basic in all respects for a 4* - that’s my only criticism. They need to improve that to be a true 4* otherwise a good choice."

We arrived at 9:30 and at 9:45 the staff started to take out the food although it was supposed to be open until 10:00. "My partner and I have just returned from a four night stay at Il Melograno and our biggest regret was that we didn't stay longer. From having worked in the travel industry for many years and being fortunate to stay in some of the most beautiful rooms and accommodation, Il Melograno is certainly up there with one of the best. From arrival we had the most warmest welcome from Maria and Teresa and this remained throughout our entire stay. The room was spectacular and a view that was out of this world. The rooms were exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated and very spacious. The breakfast was way more than we expected and imagined (despite reading previous reviews of how fantastic the breakfast was) but experiencing this for ourselves, all I can say is that it is incredible. We had an evening meal cooked by Teresa that was truly superb and with the views from the accommodation this added to the overall dining experience. I cannot rate this accommodation highly enough and would be back in a heart beat and would highly recommend this to all family and friends. It is easy to get around, under the arch way (near the pharmacy) is where you can catch the bus (every 20 minutes past the hour) and it takes you into Vitari (bus number 1) where it drops you off if you wish to go further down to the beach then it is bus number 68. It is so easy to get around by bus, ferry or train. We cannot wait to come back again next year. Thank you Teresa and Maria xxxx"
