Our coastal style home has 2 great outdoor spaces to enjoy the Florida weather: a fully screened front porch where guests like to enjoy dinner or relax, and a private, fully fenced backyard with fire pit & BBQ area. The neighborhood is known for its historic feel, walkability, and closeness to various locations (such as the Palmetto Riverside B&B, Palmetto Fishing Pier, & several restaurants). **The space: Just 1 house up from the water, our coastal style, pet-friendly home provides a fully screened front porch where guests like to enjoy dinner or relax, and a private, fully fenced backyard with fire pit, BBQ area, and sun lounger. This is one side of a duplex with separate driveway, entrances, backyard & front porch (the sister property is The Coastal Oasis of Historic Palmetto). The interior is an open concept living room to kitchen that has been recently remodeled and includes all the cooking essentials. Each bedroom includes a comfortable queen bed and shares the main bathroom (a high end queen size blow up mattress is also provided for a 3rd sleeping option). The mudroom includes a washer & dryer and is connected to the half bathroom. Guests love to walk the neighborhood and enjoy the outdoor spaces. **Neighborhood highlights: Located in the beautiful Historic Palmetto neighborhood known for its walkability, this peaceful retreat provides the perfect place for your stay. This house is just 1 house from the Manatee River (bring one of the supplied beach chairs & watch the sunset), 5 blocks to the quaint 10th St downtown area of Palmetto (visit Eleanor’s coffee or D's Burgers), and 7 blocks from the Regatta Pointe Marina (with restaurants, boat ramp & fishing pier). Within 1 mile are public pickleball courts (pickleball racquets & balls provided at The Retreat), tennis courts, & city parks. Downtown Bradenton & Riverwalk areas (home to Pittsburgh Pirates spring training & minor league teams) are just across the bridge where you can also catch the convenient Gulf Islands Ferry to Holmes Beach on Anna Maria Island. Beautiful Emerson Point Preserve with kayak launches, walking/biking paths, fishing, and a few small beaches only the locals know about is just a 10 minute drive. Downtown St Pete, downtown Sarasota, and the award-winning beaches of Anna Maria Island are all within a 30 minute drive.
