The Villas of Upper Mesa are Glacier Suites' second location of twelve nearly-new and fully-appointed standalone private residences. Located off of a low-traffic side street just 10 minutes from the heart of downtown Palmer, each unit at Upper Mesa is constructed from ICF (insulated concrete forms) for the ultimate in comfort and quiet. The fully-furnished villas each have 3-bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, radiant heated floors, a fully-stocked kitchen, storage room, ensuite laundry, charming living areas and many more upgraded amenities designed to accommodate up to 8 guests. Enjoy wooded views of Alaska's Talkeetna mountain range while youNetflix and chill on our Roku-enabled TV, or keep up with business using theincluded wifi. With quick access to everything the Mat-Su Valley offers, this villa provides a comfortable, clean and convenient private space for your Alaskan getaway.
Palmer is just 45-60 minutes northeast of Anchorage, and is a an ideal basecamp for all kinds of attractions throughout south central Alaska. While adventure & activities (like Hatcher Pass, the Reindeer Farm, Musk Ox Farm, Glacier Tours, and more!) are practically right in our backyard, we are also a great go-between for stays ranging north to Talkeetna & Denali National Park, northeast to the Matanuska Glacier & out to the Al-Can Highway, and, of course, south to the fishing & outdoor mecca that is Alaska's Kenai Peninsula.
Guest accommodations at this residence include:
- 1 primary queen bedroom with ensuite full bathroom
- 1 bedroom with queen size bed
- 1 bedroom with two twin beds

Visiting family in AK
My mom and I stayed here while visiting my sister and we loved it! The property was beautiful, very clean and the perfect quiet place to come back to every evening. The kitchen was fully stocked, washer/dryer were easily accessible and parking was easy. We will definitely be back!

Great little home near Palmer
This was perfect for our 3 couples. House was clean comfortably. We are building something very similar in PA and loved seeing what it is like finished. Heated floor took a bit to heat but was very comfortably when heated. Loved it!

Beautiful house with all the amenities needed. Even had amenities for babies with a pack and play and high chair seat. Had a wonderful, comfortable and quiet stay! Would definitely stay again.

Perfect Location and Accommo
I hesitate to share how perfect these villas are and how convenient to both Palmer and Wasilla because they may not be available when I return if readers believe my review and reserve a stay. :-) The truth is, we've stayed at many other venues in the Valley and none can hold a candle to Glacier Suites.

All good. Loved the house. The management is amazing.
Only 2 things to improve: 1) need Tupperware and glasses (only acrylic ones) - 2) need to get the snow out of the entrance with more frequency.

Better than expected...
The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen and livingroom was very spacious and it was perfect for my family of 7 (plus our dog). It was nice to finally cook for my family instead of ordering in our eating out so we had everything we needed for a home cooked meal. Will definitely stay there again whenever we're in town.

Absolutely wonderful!
The house was exactly as listed-even better actually! It was immaculate and very modern! The layout was great and we loved that it had 2 full bathrooms. We were in Wasilla for our daughter’s volleyball and would definitely stay there again! We also told the teams families how awesome of a house it was, and that they should stay there if needed in the future! Thanks for helping to make our weekend an awesome experience!

A great Alaskan getaway
We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful-modern mountain home. The unit was well laid out, had all amenities and made for a great home to sleep after a day basking in the mountain wilderness that surrounds it in the Palmer area. Close to Hatcher Pass, Knik Glacier and Chugach. Very near Palmer where you find anything you need. Thank you for a memorable stay!

Great place - once you have the address
This unit is big and open; nicely decorated with all the amenities.
The initial difficulty was that the address provided led to a neighboring cul-de-sac. (The manager was easily accessible but seems surprised that the address we were given was incorrect.)
We greatly appreciated being able to part our RV in front of the building.
