I like the hotel. It’s clean, safe, new and the price. It’s convenient for the 1 night stay when I visit family in the area. It serves its purpose. Nothing fancy but would recommend it and I’ll stay here again.

The property is new and well kept. The receptionist greeted me and checked me in. She asked what brought me in for a one night visit? I responded “a funeral” and she laughed! I suppose she thought I was joking. I wasn’t.

Pros and Cons
We only stayed overnight on our trip further south so we were only there for about 12 hours. Pros: New hotel so it’s very fresh and clean. The rooms have enough USB ports for charging phones and tablets. The breakfast was quite nice with oatmeal, yogurt, fresh fruit, waffles, eggs, sausage, quiche, danishes, bagels, etc. Very nice assortment. Also a great location close to shops and dining. Con’s… the rooms are quite small. They also have a very strange layout. For instance, as soon as we walked in the room, we ran into the bathroom door that was partially open. If the bathroom door is fully open, it blocks the coffee maker & microwave. The walls are thin as we could hear people talking. The shower pressure was just hideous. I guess if you were 6’10” tall it might be okay but it took me about 5 minutes just to wash the shampoo out of my hair. It was the deal breaker for me.

Wonderful Stay at Fairfield Inn and Suites
I had a excellent, wonderful, comfortable stay safe free. The breakfast/lunch awesome. I would like too come visit again. I would love too market the property for further business therefore I will share with all come stay at Fairfield Inn and Suites Palmdale West. Staff thank you for all.

Prefer Lancaster location
Overall a comfortable hotel, but the Lancaster one is a notch above especially with more healthy breakfast items like fresh fruit. The Palmdale breakfast area doesn't have the TV turned on and only one trash can.
