"The staff is very kind, each and every one of them. Maybe not too swift in replying the emails, that has to be improved, for sure. The structure is in a great spot, 5 minutes walking to many restaurants and to the beachfront, however it is pretty quiet given the fact that it is located in a secondary alley. "The view from the Penthouse was outstanding. Each room was well maintained and staff came in each day to clean. You could see maintenance being carried out around the communal areas and pool and staff were very helpful. The pool was cold but to get expected. Would definitely come back again. "

Customer service is non-existent, no aircon in the living room, none of the fans work, they don’t change sheets and towels daily, they don’t respond to complaints and are very defensive to feedback. There is not even coffee, tea or milk in the kitchen, not even sugar, salt and pepper! Worst ever stay for the kind of money we paid. We regret staying in this place. "A Truly Memorable Stay – Warm, Welcoming, and So Worth It! My fiancé and I came from Canada and stayed two nights at Crystal Beach Resort Bellemare in December 2023 and it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the warm welcome to the incredible service, everything was exceptional. The food was fresh and varied, the drinks were great, and the entire staff from reception, housekeeping and restaurant made us feel genuinely cared for. As Mauritians living abroad, we were deeply touched by how respectfully we were treated just like any international guest. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been our experience at every hotels we’ve been in Mauritius, but this hotel made us feel truly seen, welcomed, and appreciated. The room was clean, cozy, and comfortable, and the heated pool was the cherry on top. We felt completely relaxed and on vacation. "We stayed at C Mauritius for 12 nights for our honeymoon, from 15th June 2025. We’d read about the East Coast of Mauritius being particularly windy in Mauritian “winter” but the amazing reviews made it a risk worth taking. And the reviews aren’t wrong! We loved every minute of our stay at C Mauritius Palmar. From the room and terrace (a Prestige suite) and welcome gifts, to the delicious food and drinks, beautiful pools and beach, and most important of all, the friendly and professional service from all staff - it exceeded our expectations! This was our first time in Mauritius and the hotel team made us feel so welcome. They speak English and French (and other languages like Italian), are always happy to help and helped us organise a driver to other parts of the island quickly (thanks Olivier)! We want to thank Jai, Jasmine, Vicky, Abishek, Moon, the chefs and so many others on the service team whose names we didn’t get. Catherine makes incredible eggs and omelettes! Vidhi and colleagues at reception were a pleasure to speak with. Reshma and Mega were wonderful message therapists in the spa ❤️ thanks too to the housekeeping, laundry and gardening teams for doing such a great job every day! "This property epitomises luxury. It’s all in the detail. Flavoured water on the beach, ice buckets filled with drink whilst sunbathing, gourmet food and ice cream. The staff give you that boutique feel and the honey made on site is a lovely touch. We moved onto another property at a different part of the island and if it wasn’t fully booked we would head straight back to the lux*. It’s another level "

"Le Preskill island resort is nestled by a crystal-clear lagoon on the south east coast of Mauritius. What I liked most about the hotel is the stunning sea view, mountain, additional facilities, restaurant, and the overall atmosphere. The hotel's customer service is truly exceptional. The staff ( Alain, Mackline, Shenaz, Deepak, Ravi Sankonah, Ravi Teelwah, Chrisna, Anand, Pravin, Cindy ) were great, very welcoming and helpful. The food was terrific. The restaurant serves Mediterranean, local, Asian, and European cuisines. I thoroughly enjoyed my holiday and the amenities were top-notch, with friendly staff, so I would definitely stay here again in the future. "

"Our stay at LUX was exceptional. The amenities are clean, the staff is ultra nice. The beach in front of the hotel is probably the best we’ve visited. We were there for our honeymoon and for my husband’s birthday and we were spoiled with so many surprises, like champagne, cake, massages, cocktails mixing class and a number of other things. There is also so much to do, that if you wish, you don’t have to leave the hotel. There is a program with number of events every day - for children and for adults. We visited the spa, used the tennis court, went to the cinema night. Everything was perfect during our stay."
