SOL Springs, Cathedral city stay

Front Desk asian old mannot friendly . Hallway smellj just like really cheap Pine-Sol in the room, nothing was plugged in. Refrigerator door wide open and warm. Critical main room lamp no light bulb, bathroom door, unfinished paint job masking tape still left on shower towel hook. My room was on the even number side 228. The view would be perfect, beautiful Mountain side, as seen on the website. However, there is an abandoned restaurant right next-door with LA - quality, graffiti, this absolutely trashes the desert ambience that you’re told about on the website. never again.

Room was pretty nice. Decent. Bathroom faucet was super loose and was about to come off. The hotel is next to a cannibas dispensary and despite the hotel smelling like a skunk was following me there was some shady antics going on in the parking lot. Someone not so professional looking was waiting in his car in the parking lot for a while. He left and came back about 90 mins later.

Room was very rundown. Window to the balcony was cracked all the way through. Floors were sticky and filthy. But, the bed was very comfortable, and the sheets were clean as were the towels. Had a balcony that looked like it had never been cleaned, but it was nice to have a big wide balcony to sit in and look at the hills behind the hotel. A few homeless roaming about since there was an empty lot in the front and an empty lot in the back. Very convenient location. But this was a $70 hotel room not $130.
