The hotel’s policy regarding outside food was confusing and contradictory. We were initially told that we were not allowed to heat up food purchased from outside, yet one receptionist later informed us that it was permitted as long as the food had been purchased within the previous hour. This inconsistency left us unsure about what the actual policy was and why different members of staff were giving different information. Clear, consistent communication would have avoided a lot of frustration and unnecessary food waste.
