  • Make the most of your California getaway by staying at your own resort-like property. Our nicely updated home offers a quiet, private, setting backing up to Desert Willow Golf Resort. Our home is approximately 2,500sf with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and an open-room office with sleeper sofa, large game room, well- equipt kitchen, and a family room with fireplace.

    The kitchen is upgraded with granite countertops, stainless appliances, desk area and plenty of counter space. The master suite features a king-size bed, sitting retreat, flat screen TV, and a large bathroom with stone countertops, jacuzzi bathtub, shower stall, and walk in closet. The two secondary bedrooms are nicely furnished with queen beds and plenty of drawer and closet space. The game room features a free-standing bar, full-size pool table, foosball table, and old-fashion popcorn machine. The family room has a large entertainment unit with a 52" flat screen TV, DVD player, and tuner capable of streaming music from your smart devices to the surround-sound speakers.

    While the inside of the house is a fun and comfortable place to hang out and relax, the backyard is what makes this property so special! There is a large pool; an elevated, stone-accented spa; a covered sitting area with a ceiling fan; a separate fire pit seating area; gas grill; large lounging space; and beautiful views of the San Joaquin mountains.

    Our home is conveniently located near many wonderful Coachella Valley attractions. El Paseo (the "Rodeo Drive" of the desert), The McCallum Theatre, and The River Walk are all about a 15-minute drive away. The Indian Wells Tennis Garden, where the BNP Paribas Open is held, is only 10 minutes away. Additionally, there are numerous golf courses, restaurants, and hiking trails nearby.
    We know you will enjoy your stay at our home. Please note, our house is located in a small, close-knit, neighborhood that is relatively quiet. We ask our guests to please respect this lifestyle.

Palm Desert Retreat

It was a treat to come back here again! This is the best stocked house I've ever had the pleasure to stay in. Loved the new outdoor furniture & lounge chairs. Beds were comfy with lots of comforters/blankets for the cool nights that happen in Feb/March. And being able to park in the garage was very helpful since I had shipped my own car out to Cali. I'll be back again soon!

A perfect spring vacation property!

We booked this house because of the private pool and lovely backyard. Also it faces north which is a consideration in April and May. The whole back area was exceptional. The house is large with space for guests. The beds were good, linens new and kitchen well equipped. Kathy was helpful whenever we needed a bit of help. We are already booked again for next year.

All is perfect with the house and grounds. The only thing that affected or stay was the wind. Several of our days there were too windy to sit outside with sand and dust in the air. I'm sure it's not always like that. Otherwise we loved it there.

We had a great time here for a girl's trip. Any opportunities or questions we had with the house were addressed as soon as possible. We loved this property which we stayed at for a month in March! The house was perfect for our needs, clean and easily accessible to restaurants, etc. We used the pool just about every day. Kathy's pool service kept the pool so nice and clean. Kathy's rose bushes were in bloom, enjoyed hummingbirds every day in the back yard. Great neighbors too!! Well equipped kitchen!! I will miss my coffee by the pool that I enjoyed every day. We plan on returning. Kathy is very easy to work with and very responsive.

Palm Desert 2022 vacation

We loved renting this house for our family vacation! It was large enough so everyone could have their own space, and yet it felt like home. A very thoroughly outfitted kitchen made cooking in so easy to do on the nights we didn't explore the great restaurants in the area. We spent many happy hours floating in the pool, enjoying the sun, and sitting by the fire table at night gazing at the stars and the palm trees swaying in the breeze. I took to calling the house 7 Palms, after the trees lining the fence. The cooler evenings we stayed indoors and either played pool or foosball. Then we set up a card table to work on a 1000 pc puzzle.( and we finished it!) The appliances worked well, and I loved the new washer & dryer for keeping up with all the beach towels. The neighbors we met were so friendly, and were amazed we had been so quiet they didn't know we had been there all month. All around a wonderful place to stay, and we've already booked our return trip. Once you've vacationed in a home, you'll never go back to a hotel room!

Great House and Location

The house and the location were great. The property abuts a golf course, which make it more private than most. The house was comfortable. There were several cabinets inside that had broken cabinet doors. The pool and hot tub were not very clean when we arrived. There was algae on the sides of the pool and spa with somewhat cloudy water. The outdoor furniture was pretty dusty (likely from high winds in the Palm Springs area nightly), so we had to clean the patio furniture before using. Fortunately the owner was responsive in getting a pool person to clean and treat the pools so after about 3 days into our 7 day stay, the pool was cleaned and the water was clear with the proper salt levels. The spa temperature never became any warmer than a cool bath, which was disappointing. We would stay there again, but would call ahead to the owner to make sure that the pool and spa were effectively serviced and maintained ahead of our stay. Lesson learned.

Quick synopsis

Nice quiet neighborhood, well stocked, great game room, large master bedroom and bath. Albertson's nearby. Only minuses were, only 2 chaise lounges, poor lighting in extra bedrooms, broken dvd player, tv controls were tricky to master, pool controls also tricky and pool pump and heater very noisy. Aside from these issues it is a nice unit and you will likely be satisfied with your stay.
