The rental was beautiful and stocked with everything you could need (feminine products, coffee pods, laundry detergent, first aid, extra sunscreen, etc.) It was very clean with plenty of towels, robes, storage, dishes, etc. The toilet paper was even made into a rose. The only issues we had were not being able to control the air conditioning, patio lights, and the cleaniness of the pool. There was a binder that said that the pool cleaners came on Wednesdays & Saturdays. We texted the owners asking what time they would be coming so we weren't out in our bathing suits when they arrived. They said they need to update the binder and that the pool cleaners actually come on Fridays. Although we arrived on Friday and the pool was filled with leaves, sticks, and even some bugs and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in awhile. I've swam in lakes so it wasn't too bad. Before bed, my friend said the AC unit in their room said 79 and they thought that might be too warm for sleeping. We checked the binder and it said they're remote controlled so we scoured the rental looking for the remote. We had no luck so I messaged the owner and they said that it's "automatic" and asked what we wanted it adjusted to. I requested 75 so it wouldn't be too big of a jump, they responded saying it's already at 77 bit they'll lower it. We never saw the number change so I don't know how it worked. When we were on the patio in the evening it got really dark and we couldn't see any longer. We noticed there were buffet lights but we couldn't figure out how to turn them on. I did not want to message the owner anymore but we didn't want to go inside either. So I broke down and messaged them. They said they were automatic too and come on when it's dark. They turned on right after I messaged them. I would also suggest getting a chain lock to help guests feel safer than just a code system.
Overall the space was beautiful and fun. It was just hard having so little control over things such as air and lights. I'm just not a fan of having to message the owners for little things like that.
