We were a company of 10 friends and really occupied the whole appartment. Alexandros contacted us in advance before the arrival and came with good suggestions for car parking and other practical details. He was waiting us and spent time with us to sort out with the parking. The place is in the heart of Palermo city and the parking is an issue. The rooms were nice and had all the comfort we needed. Certainly, it was a nice place in the city center and Alexandrow made it even better.

The listing is for a boutique hotel and what we found was a hostel. It is located on a busy, loud street. Others staying here were smoking in the hallway. The beds only had a sheet, no other blankets or comforters. The heater eventually worked in our room. We slept in our sweatshirts. The listing says parking available & perhaps I interpreted that wrong as I assumed it was available on property grounds. It is street parking…IF available. Not that we need a tv but the listing said there are tvs in the rooms & there are not. It also said there would be complimentary WiFi but the host’s assistant didn’t know how to connect and suggested we go down to the shops below and ask how to connect. There was not a light bulb in our bedside lamp. There were no batteries in the remote to work the heater, we had to loan our batteries to the other people in our party. Their heater never did turn on. The in-room refrigerators / coffee / tea makers are non-existent but there is a fridge at the end of the hallway in the shared kitchen.I will say, the host met us at our car and helped us with our luggage and helped us park in a nearby parking garage. The host was excellent and extremely helpful. If you went to the 4th floor there is a rooftop where you have awesome views of the city! Security wise I felt good, there are 3 locked doors between the outside of the building and my bed. There’s a gelato shop close to the building & a discount grocery store nearby.

Difficult host
Confusing check in, very difficult to find. Difficult communication, could only use WhatsApp. Plumbing problems, berated us for no cause. Friend needed hospital, no help/empathy. Not welcoming, unreasonable, hot tempered!!!
