"The grounds are just spectacular. The colors of all the plants and landscaping in general was amazing. We have eaten lunch there before but decided to spend the night. The room was spacious and even had a covered patio. The food, as always, was also excellent. Nice break from the heat of the beach. I highly recommend spending some time exploring the Golden Frog. "

The owner treated me as a friend giving me good advice and any possible assistance, for instance bicycles are available free of charge. He keeps a friendly dog welcoming every guest without any harm. The house is located beside a stream of fresh mountain water. I'd like to come again."

Older hotel with flaws as far as condition but staff makes up for that 10 times over. Personal service and food and drink very good and priced well. Quiet area with pool and hilltop view of Pacific. If you want an updated hotel stay in Panama City. If not go to Hotel Eclipse and get one on one service and comfort at a reasonable price and deal with a superbe staff!"
