We stayed for 3 nights and had a great overall experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location is absolutely unbeatable – everything you need is right around the corner, from supermarkets and shops to plenty of restaurants. The apartment had a well-equipped kitchen, which made things super convenient. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, and the biggest downside for us was the lack of climate control – the rooms got quite hot at night. Aside from that, it’s a comfortable place to stay in a fantastic location.

Wat een zicht!

Heel leuk verblij, prachtige locatie en wat een zich!!! Ook leuk dat het in de oude stad is, wat veel gezelliger is dan het “echte” toeristisch centrum. Hele goeie bedden, goeie douche, … Zeer verbaasd dat dit verblijf maar 2 sterren heeft, het zouden er meer mogen zijn, alleen al voor het zicht.

The accommodation is spacious and very comfortable and the reception and cleaning/maintenance staff are all very friendly. However what sets this property apart is the setting with wonderful views of the sea, beach and both sunrise and sunset.

Das Hotel hat durch einen Buchungsfehler seitens Expedia oder des Hotels (keiner will es gewesen sein) nicht wie gebucht ein Appartment mit 2 Schlafzimmern, sondern nur mit einem Schlafzimmer und einer Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer zur Verfügung gestellt. Dies konnte nach Reklamation am Anreisetag nicht angeboten werden. Stattdessen wurde erst am dritten Tag ein weiteres Doppelzimmer zur Verfügung gestellt.

We had stayed here before so knew what to expect and we weren’t disappointed. The view was amazing. If anything could have been better a little extra kitchen work space would have been useful but the kitchen equipment was all there.

Quiet, chill out place

Simple, clean apartments with great views. Location is up a lot of steps and apartments quite small so would not suit children or the less mobile. Pool is very small and cold. However, the sea view is great, staff very nice and apartments are clean. Very good fish restaurants nearby, though down many steps! No night life to speak of but great if you wish to have a quiet, relaxing break by a lovely beach.

Our apartment looked directly over the sea, lovely

Staff friendly. We didn't have any English speaking tv channels and as we had arrived on Saturday afternoon we couldn't buy internet(the reception is closed at 2.30 each day and on a Sunday). The restaurants in the area are great and the beach is beautiful.

Ankommen und wohl fühlen!

Wir waren nun zum zweiten mal im Atalaya und werden sicher nicht das letzte mal dort gewesen sein :-) Es ist einfach perfekt für uns, denn es bietet uns die besten Bedingungen für einen schönen erholsamen Urlaub. Eine vollkommen ausreichende Ausstattung, sauber und gepflegt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuverlässig. Und dann das allerbeste, dieser grandiose Lage. Der Ausblick vom Balkon ist der schönste, direkt auf einer Klippe gelegen. Ein Traum!

Excellent apartments in a particularly good location in the old town. Beautiful uninterrupted views of the Atlantic. Spacious apartments. The only drawback is the lack of wi fi. A single computer terminal is available to guests.
