"Wanted to love this stay because the town itself was amazing, but unfortunately we were disappointed the moment we stepped into this property.
It was never disclosed that the pool would be closed, but I could have looked past that. What I could not overlook was the condition of the hotel due to construction. The lobby was being used as construction storage, and it appeared that nearly 95% of the hotel was under renovation. There were construction materials and debris throughout the property, and the smell was overwhelming.
I honestly don’t understand how the hotel is allowed to remain open in this state. After a long day of traveling, we stayed because it was the only hotel available nearby, but I regret that decision. Since leaving, both my children and I have experienced health issues, including asthma flare-ups.
I truly realized how unsafe the conditions were when walking to breakfast and my son tripped over debris in the hallway. The staff were unfortunately not helpful and offered no apology or understanding. Instead, they suggested we should have stayed in our car if we were unhappy.
I travel frequently and have never experienced conditions or customer service this poor. A complaint has been filed with the Board of Health, as I do not believe this hotel should be operating while in this condition. Photos have been attached."
"Floors under beds and living room carpet were dirty with debris. Curtains did not fully cover windows. Upon checking in the door lock did not function properly. A code was not needed to unlock the door. I sent owner a message and it took awhile to reply. Asked for a key so we could lock the door which was left on outside porch on door sill plate for anyone to use. It was the wrong key. Eventually the lock was reprogrammed. This was a problem for us due to all our gear and some guns we had to leave behind when going hunting. It took 3-days for the lock to be fixed. This and slow / no response was very frustrating. Mattresses were not comfortable. Smaller bedroom mattress was thin enough you could feel metal frame underneath. Overall, I would recommend staying here as it is a newer trailer and stocked as described. "
"The cabin was clean and efficient, it had everything that was needed. Location was great for both the North and South entrances to the park. It lacked a tv in the bedroom and a hair dryer. Traper’s was closed for renovations so we had our dinners at Burly’s the food and company was excellent."

"First impression it looked sketchy. But it was a clean safe environment. I thought we were getting a room with 2 queen beds but they were smaller.Strong perfume like smell in the halls. Bathroom was dated but functional. Windows didn't have screens in them but did open.Fresh waffles in the morning were great!Sure, there are many updates and improvements that could be made but it is a safe dry place to stay on a budget."
