Annual Wolf Creek ski vacation
This property had two issues that preclude a return booking. The first one is not under the control of the owner, but involves the adjoining townhouse. A very loud Basset hound barked/bayed at all hours of the night and early morning. EVERY night at least two or more sleep-disrupting episodes! White noise takes care of the road noise, but can't compete with his noctural announcements. Also, the house is very dusty (couches, bedding, blinds) and this affected our entire group. This is an easy fix, but the neighbor's dog is a deal-breaker. Otherwise, the kitchen and bathroom supplies were appreciated as well as the proximity to town and Wolf Creek.

Like I said in our email, I do apologize for the inconvenience of the dog, but like you said that is out of our control, however we have not had anyone else complain about this, so I am thinking maybe they were out of town and that is not the norm. On another note, I checked with our son, who is very particular and just been up there the weekend before about the dust issue and asked him to be honest & he felt like there was not a problem, like you have stated. I will talk to our housekeeper and have her go over those things, but we have worked very hard to make this an enjoyable place for families to come and make memories, so I really don’t appreciate such a low rating when one of the complaints was out of our control.

Interior accommodations are roomy and clean, and instructions for use of property were clear. note it backs up to Hwy 160, which was not disclosed in listing. Learned it was an adjoined townhome after completed booking.

The condo was nice. Only complaint is the plug in air fresheners, they are toxic and unfriendly to people with allergies and chemical sensitivities.

San Juan home
The house was just as advertised. We had all we needed and the price was very fair. Close to town but far enough away! A little to close to the main road so traffic was a bit noisy when trying to sleep with the windows open. Fans were in every bedroom and that was very helpful!

Nice place with everything you need!
It was nice to have 1 bedroom on lower level with a bathroom. The upstairs had a nice living room area with a a bar, plus 2 bedrooms. We enjoyed our stay and it was close to our family

Beautiful location, quite except for some road noise from highway. Clean, roomy, new appliances and very well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, towels, etc as well as some consumables that would get you through a day of simple meals if you didn't have a chance to grocery shop before arrival.

Get away stay!
Well kept, clean and spacious for the amount of time there. Well stocked with personal items, refreshing view and walking distance to the river. Would definitely recommend to anyone or a few couples.

Comfortable, nice stay in San Juan Village
We enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Alpine Retreat. The home had everything we needed and Jennifer was super responsive to any questions we had. The location was great since we were there for Spring Break and skiing at Wolf Creek. Plenty of room for our 2 families (4 adults and 4 small kids.) The home is close to the highway so there is some highway noise but it did not bother us too much. We would stay here again in the future! We love Pagosa Springs!

Great Place
This was an awesome place, very well equipped. We choose this place because of it's location to Wolf Creek ski resort. It was an 17-18 very pretty drive each way! The house was very clean, and as I said very well equipped. We brought our own food and just stayed in and cooked in the evenings. Make sure you have the VBRO code to get in. I find relocating VBRO's email a tad bit frustrating at times and when we got there unfortunatley the owner had the wrong code! But alas after a bit I was able to find the code and we got in. :) I would highly recommend this place.

Great ski trip home base
Clean and well supplied. Great location for skiing wolf creek. Nice to have a garage to store ski equipment. WiFi streamed movies without any buffering. Great communication with owner.

Perfect location to Wolfe Creek
Cute & cozy townhome perfect for our family of 3 with more than enough room. Close proximity to Wolfe Creek. A little close to the main road but not bothersome. All in all, great stay!

Excellent stay!
The property was exactly what had been described but the photos did not do it justice as it was even better than the pictures. Absolutely perfect for my family, in a quiet location but near enough to Downtown Pagosa Springs.

Great & affordable cabin
Our family had a great week at the San Juan Village townhome. The house had a large assortment of pantry items and seasoning (all still fresh), kitchen items, toiletries, and laundry soap. There was plenty of space to put a pack-and-play in 2 bedrooms. There is new construction in the neighborhood that starts early, but neighbors and builders were very friendly, no one seemed bothered by having renters (unlike some neighborhoods). The only negative is that it backs up to the highway, but nighttime traffic during the week isn't too heavy. This home is a great and affordable option when visiting Pagosa Springs!

A Great Getaway

This was a family vacation and we had a blast! So much to do and wonderful restaurants!
This property was perfect! Plenty of space for everyone! It is comfortable and had everything we needed. Quiet neighborhood out of town with access to a wonderful pond and to the river. I recommend this place!

Great value for the price. Lots of room for the family.
Good location just a few miles away from Pagosa Springs. A lot of good hiking trails and horseback riding on the east side of town so that was convenient. I would definitely rent the cabin again!

Perfect Stay

Another fantastic stay at this excellent, well -located property
We made what has become a yearly visit to this property for our annual Spring ski and soak vacation to Pagosa Springs. The home is very well located just a few miles from town and 20 minutes to skiing at Wolf Creek. It's always spotless. The kichen is completely stocked with anything you could ever need....good for us as we tend to stay in for home cooked meals. And, Jennifer may be the most responsive VRBO we've ever dealt with! This year we noticed a brand-new kitchen stove and a new large screen TV in the master bedroom....even though we sleep upstairs and hang out on the comfortable couches in front of the warm, cozy stove. We highly recommend this home.

Great getaway
Great getaway from the craziness of life. It is extremely close to town. Quick drive to the slopes. The house was super clean. She gave us all the information we needed. House rules were simple and we had everything we needed. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to relax.

Wonderful House with Beautiful View

Pagosa Springs Vacation
The house was very nice, clean & air conditioned. We have a long trailer that holds 2 ATVs and there was room for the trailer, 4-door pickup & a small SUV & still had some room. We enjoyed our stay and it was nice not being too far from town. We never talked to the property manager so I gave that a 5.
