San Juan Mountain Home<br>VR-025762

This cabin is 6 miles east of Pagosa Springs on Highway 160 in the San Juan River Resort, mountain side. It has some views through the trees, easy access to the highway, and 18 minutes to Wolf Creek Ski Area. The San Juan River Resort is surrounded by 3 million acres of National Forest.
It is completely furnished with stack-able washer/dryer, stove, oven. microwave, and most of your small appliances. It has a gas log fireplace in the living area, with Satellite TV, VCR, C.D. player with speakers located in the bedrooms, deck and garage and lots of games in the second bedroom.

The Master bedroom has a king bed and a full bath, second bedroom has a king bed. The second bathroom is located downstairs. A maximum of six occupants.

It has a large deck with bird feeders that attract many different birds, including Humming Birds.

Pagosa Springs area: Wolf Creek Ski Area is noted for having the most snow in Colorado and some of the best powder skiing and snowboarding. Ski, snowboard or snowmobile all day, soak sore muscles away in the Springs and then dine in one of our gourmet restaurants in the evening. Summertime offers a different menu of recreational choices as listed above, as well as camping, swimming, bicycling, mountain biking, outdoor dining, art & craft fairs, the Red Ryder Rodeo and Roundup, hot air balloon Colorfest, parades and music & art festivals, to name a few. The climate is “high and dry”...Summertime brings warm, balmy days and crisp cool nights, while the winter treats us to sparking snow and invigorating fresh, clear air. Close by Pagosa Springs are the ancient Chacoan ruins of Chimney Rock, Navajo Lake for boating and water skiing, the town of Durango and the legendary Durango to Silverton Railroad. You might say there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

•••We have recently updated putting in new carpet throughout the house and purchasing a new couch and loveseat as well as a new dining room set.
Just a warning that the drive is steep. So, you may need four wheel drive if you get a big snowstorm. We do have a snow removal company but it may take them a day to clear the drive.

Amazing spot!
We absolutely loved this rental! We skied 5 days at wolf creek and it was a perfect base camp. Easy to get to Pagosa but also easy to get to get up the pass. We will Absolutely stay here again- thanks for having such a warm and cozy house with everything you could need!

Reminded me of my childhood
We stayed in 3 different VRBOS this summer and this was my favorite by far. Though it isn’t super modern or updated it was spacious, homey and we really enjoyed watching the birds from the deck. I know it’s not for everyone, but I loved the carpet. It reminded me of summers at my grandmas house. Beds were also super comfortable. My only suggestion would be to provide coffee/tea for your guests. Things close pretty early and if you’re getting in late it’s not always convenient to run to your local grocery store. Also, the microwave would not work. It kept tripping the breaker but we just used the oven instead. Would definitely recommend, especially for families with kiddos. Great home! If we’re ever in Pagosa again this is where we will stay.

Cozy and convenient home!
We loved the home and it was perfect for our family! Great location just outside of the town of Pagosa, which we prefer, but close and convenient. Great house with everything you need. Love that both bedrooms have king beds and the loft has a bed as well. Perfect for our family and we had a great time!

Way Better than the Pictures!
We stayed here to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and were blown away by this place! The location feels secluded and yet it is such a short drive into Pagosa. The back deck is so peaceful and restful. One evening we ate dinner on the back deck and got to witness a family of 6 deer one by one grace us with their presence. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need and more. The Roku stick allowed us to enjoy our favorite movies and shows via streaming when we settled in after a full day of hiking to the many beautiful water falls in the area. The attached garage made coming to and fro from all our hiking easy and accessible. It was truly a getaway to remember. I do have 1 complaint though. The pictures on VRBO do not do this place justice. There has been a lot of updates done since those photos were taken. New furniture, TV's carpet, etc. Don't let the photos deter you from this place like they almost did for us. Read the reviews and trust the reviews like we are so glad we did!

Cozy mountain cabin
We enjoyed our stay. I usually don’t find carpet in short term rentals, but this was lovely, soft and seemed new. The driveway isn’t flat, but there was no ice or snow on it when we were there. We had no problem at all with it in April.

The property owners went above and beyond for us. They purchased a pack and play so we wouldnt have to bring one on the plane for our 5 mos old granddaughter. Looking forward to rebooking soon.

Beautiful and serene
We enjoyed this property for a family spring break ski trip. Perfect size for our three kids (10,8,5) and us. Well kept cabin, clean, well stocked with kitchen supplies (love it when there is coffee filters already! 😂). Driveway is steep and road is muddy but we made it okay without AWD, if there was deeper snow you’d probably need it. Cabin has plenty of games and even a couple sleds to play outside with! Loved it!
