Gorgeous and cozy home with beautiful views.

This house was perfect for our trip! The house is so clean, cozy, and has everything we needed to cook and enjoy our stay. The view of the mountains from the balcony are stunning! We’ve already booked our next stay.

Beautiful place in Pagosa Springs, Colorado.

We had an amazing stay at this VRBO. Pam, one of the owners, was wonderful to work with and always available for questions. The house was just as advertised. We will definitely return.

Wonderful week in Pagosa!

We had the best family vacation at MMR. The cabin was spotless and the views were incredible. We cooked nearly every meal and had everything we needed, right down to a lemon squeezer. Will most certainly be returning!!

Absolutely wonderful!

This was easy to get to, beautiful home, amazing views, only thing I would like was a fan over the gas stove-we had to open the kitchen window and use a box fan to vent the fumes. And still the most AMAZING stay!!

Excellent property

MMR was a great location to Wolf Creek ski area and Pegosa Springs. It was clean and had a wonderful mountain view. Perfect for our family of four. I especially liked the first morning breakfast and complimentary wine that was provided. It had everything we wanted and needed for our family’s first ski vacation.

This place is awesome. The view is beath taking. The owners were great. Anytime I had questions of any kind they had the answer or found out for me. Very quick response time and always helpful. I will definitely stay here again!!!

Ahhhh-mazing

Our family of 4 LOVED this home!! The views were superb! Lots of attention to detail & special touches made it so comfortable & peaceful. My 3 & 5 yo’s loved going for walks through the hillside & my husband & I enjoyed sipping coffee in the AM & wine in the PM on the deck. Would highly recommend this home!

Beautiful, peaceful, sled in the yard

Wonderful, comfortable mountain home with everything you need. Encredible mountain view out the back. Easy access to Pagosa (10 min) and Wolf Creek (25-30 min). Kids from 1-10 loved it!

Wonderful winter cabin in the woods

We loved the cabin/home in the woods in Pagosa. This place had the best stocked kitchen; bowls, cooking utensils, etc. of any VRBO home we have rented (and we have rented a lot). And they had breakfast and a bottle of wine in the frig when we arrived. The place was very clean. Beds were comfortable. And the view from the house was amazing. We would definitely come back and stay there again.

Wonderful time at MMR

Property manager could not have been more responsive or helpful. The cabin could not have been decorated any cuter or more appropriate for the area. We travel a lot and were very pleased with the property as well as their provision of breakfast, wine and so many basics that most properties do not provide. A beautiful view from the deck and the stars at night will blow you away! A lovely stay!!

Excellent getaway with gorgeous views

We booked this for a quick family weekend getaway in December. The place was very clean and comfortable. One of our favorite activities involved turning on the fireplace on a cold snowy winter morning, sitting in the cozy sofas sipping coffee, and taking in the spectacular view of the mountain ranges up ahead. We felt very welcomed by our host Pam, and she responded to our questions in a very timely manner. It was truly an excellent retreat, and we hope to do it again in the future.

Very comfortable and the VIEW!!!!!

After a long day driving it was very nice to drive up to MMR and be greeted with such comfortable settings. The owners have thought of everything!! There are plenty of warm blankets, well stocked kitchen and coffee bar and the beds are so comfy. But seriously nothing beats waking up in the morning and looking out the back to the view, I never got tired of admiring it all week. We highly recommend MMR if your plans take you to Pagosa Springs.

A true winter wonderland!

I can't say enough about Maverick Mountain Retreat! It has the most breathtaking view right out the back door. Everything and I mean everything is in perfect condition and the house is stocked with anything you could ever need. It is very warm and inviting yet has a very plush, luxurious feel. You immediately feel pampered walking in the front door. We will definitely be back in the near future.

Annual ski trip

We have stayed in a lot of cabins over the years and this one is the best one so far. The home is very clean, well equipped, and in a great location. The beds were very comfortable, I slept better here than I ever have in Colorado being from the flat land.The breakfast for the first morning was great. Pamela was very friendly and helpful. The only complaint I can come up with is the wildlife didn’t show up. LOL

First time in Pagosa Springs..we will be back!

Everything was awesome! Pam was great with her communication and descriptions. Cabin was perfect for our family and it was so quiet it could make your ears ring :) The family games that are in the cabin saved the night one night when I had some tired little girls that didn’t want to go to bed. We played games until they passed out on the couches and then put them in bed. We will be back for a summer adventure next time!

BOOK THIS HOUSE!

We traveled to Pagosa Springs primarily for the skiing in Wolf Creek. MMR is situated in a very scenic location on a hill but still allowed us to drive to Wolf Creek in 30 minutes. We went downtown each evening and it was very easy to access within 10 minutes. The home was comfortable, well appointed and had every amenity we needed. The view from the home is spectacular! Pam, the owner, is highly responsive and takes great pride in making sure your stay at MMR is perfect. We highly recommend MMR!

Beautiful Sunset with Mountain View

My husband and I were pleased with the home for the location since we were skiing Wolfcreek Ski Area. It was comfortable, cozy, clean with an outstanding view. We have rented a lot of VRBO homes over the years and in comparison we rate this home 4 stars. My suggestions are to provide humidifiers and some different drinking glasses other than jar style and wine glasses. With that being said, this VRBO rental was clean, comfortable and convenient! We would star here again for a ski trip. KS

Warm, welcoming, every attention to detail.

Upon walking through the door, not only were we awestruck by the incredible Mountain View off the deck, but immediately felt like we had entered a loving home. The cabin is immaculately clean and superbly decorated with higher class finishes than are typically found in a vacation property. Hospitality such as breakfast groceries left in the refrigerator for our first morning, a welcome bottle of wine, shampoo/conditioner/soap dispenser in the showers, detergent for the washer, hair dryers in each bathroom, a variety of games, books, and magazines— these are simply a sampling of the items that made us feel right at home and ready to enjoy our time together. MMR is a perfect home for relaxing, bonding with family, and enjoying God’s handiwork in gorgeous Pagosa Springs.
