only sat here if you're stuck

We arrived tired and hungry after 24k camino walk in heat and "host" saw us to our rooms and offered us dinner later. Macaron, he said. However what he produced was two cold plates of insipid pasta and tuna with sweetcorn followed by supermarket "creme caramel". There was just one choice of mediocre white wine. The bedroom window furthest away from the noisy traffic would not open for which he blamed the handy man. His lack of English didn't help. I had also requested a quieter room over looking garden and to use swimming pool. He said pool would not be available till 1pm and check out time was midday. We were glad to leave the place at 8am

Stayed here for business, at the end of the day nice place to come back to and unwind. Would be great in summer time with the pool.

Stylishly refurbished country house

This is an old house with nice antiques and pictures, which has been stylishly refurbished to create comfortable rooms whilst retaining its character. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Very close to the main road - and there was some road noise throughout the night, although it didn't bother us. Good local restaurant across the road which we'd recommend! Breakfast was OK but all pre-packaged components - which is not typical of the other casas we stayed in. Very friendly young owner who gave us good recommendations of places to visit on the route we were taking.

Excellent location if you are doing El Camino

Excellent location if you are doing El Camino and do not want to stay in Padron . Few rooms, pool only available in summer , make sure you book your meals at check-in.

Einfaches Flair-Hotel direkt am Jakobsweg

Das kleine, einfache und familiäre Hotel befindet sich in einem schön renovierten Gebäude aus 19. Jahrhundert. Zimmer mit Flair, schönes gepflegtes Ambiete in Lobby und Aufenthaltraum. Frühstück sehr einfach, aber O.K. Besitzer sind sehr bemüht. Lage in ländlicher Lage direkt am Jakobsweg, Gebäude grenzt leider an vielbefahrene Straße.
