Good place to chill

Very comfortable and relaxing. Location -- quiet, and walking distance to river, beach and eating places. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Einfache, aber saubere Unterkunft an ruhiger Lage in Padang. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zentrum der Stadt ist zu Fuss in ca. 30 Minuten erreichbar.

Hotelnya nyaman seperti dirumah, sayang hanya 1 hr

Yang menyenangkan tempat buat sarapan, cukup terbuka dan luas jadi gak sumpek , sarapan sambil ngobrol jadi santai. Hanya ada 1 keluhan, saya ambil 2 kamar , kamar yang ditempati teman saya kurang nyaman krn exchaust fan dikamar mandi berbunyi cukup keras sehingga harus dimatikan , otomatis lampu kamar mandi jg mati.

Leuk hotel in Padang

Erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Prima schone kamer met douche. Ontbijt was ook prima, wel Indonesisch eten. Zeer goede prijs, kwaliteit verhouding.

Great hotel, friendly staff, awesome breakfast

This was a budget hotel with awesome amenities! For a couple of backpackers used to very basic rooms this place was heaven! Hot water, air con, clean, tv, and an awesome breakfast buffet included in the minimal price. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great for a variety of food.

Bad Experience

I saw many reviews online so I decided to book two nights. Out of my expectations, the reviews were all wrong. No windows in all rooms even the most expensive one. Dirty and mouldy bathroom that I hardly stand in it. Toilet seat broken. Bed spring hurts our back bones. Noisy old aircond. We asked the time of breakfast. They told us 7am to 10am. We went down at 8am but no more breakfast. We requested to have our breakfasts but they ladies told us kitchen had nothing to cook for us. We complaint about the time should be end at 10am? They no reply to us and walked away. At the end of the lousy morning, we ate the left over few spoons of rice and two pieces of breads with dirty jam. So disappointing. We just stayed overnight and left the hotel to D Oxville that we stayed on the first night. Highly not recommended. Please give a true review on this hotel to avoid others travellers disappointing. Very good for tight budget travellers that does not care for hygiene, services, noisy loud aircond and uncomfortable bed. No bike renting. No stalls around. No taxi around. Dark village at night. Mosquitoes all around. Poor services staffs.

手軽でフレンドリーな良いホテルです

6月4日から3日間Andalas大学との研究交流と交換学生の打ち合わせで滞在しました。スタッフは非常に友好的で申し分ありませんでした。市内にも歩いて10分程度で博物館などへ行けます。ウオーキングなどにもいいです。7日の朝は早朝の6時にホテルを出なければならなかったのですが，特別に朝食をいただきました。感謝しております！　それとネット環境も申し分なく，快適に使用できました。次回にも利用したいと思っております。

wuerden wieder kommen.....

Insgesamt waren wir zufrieden. Leider haben die Zimmer unten kein Fenster. Das Fruehstueck ist gut und die nette Besitzerin hat uns morgens sogar zum Busbahnhof gefahren!

Helpful staff

Damri from airport stops right at the junction and signboard to hotel is visible. From the junction is less than 2-mins walk. Girl staff was very helpful. And we managed to get early c/i. Internet only at lobby. But was down the evening until we c/o the next morning. Breakfast was okay. Toilet needs more cleaning, water dripping from sink. Bed was shaky but we had good sleep. Church upstairs can be noisy with kids running and people talking loudly.

Cozy homestay with very nice and helpful owner!

I can honestly recommend this place. The room is clean, equipped with tea/coffee maker and daily bottle of water. Aircon working fine and Wifi as well. I recommend rooms on the 1st floor - they have windows, the ones on the ground floor are a bit like dives, like in a basement. The nicest surprise was waiting for us at the breakfast. The buffet was surprisingly reach and apart from rice and noodles we could find enough toast, cakes, sweets. Great coffee! The owner is very helpful and resourceful, arranged for us a driver and a car for a whole day trip at a very decent price. So if you get lost somewhere in Padang - you can spend a night or two at Havilla Maranatha :)
