The only bearable thing in this place was breakfast. There is no AC or even a fan in the rooms, with hot temperatures it was unbearable. No room refrigerator for drinks. Room was provided with two small bottles of water but no bottle opener. The furniture seen much better days. Mattress hard like a rock. Terra cloth bedding unpleasantly harsh. Thin synthetic towels were previously used to map the floor. Service definitely not customer oriented, whole place stop caring about 30 years ago. Poland is beautiful but try to avoid places like Stara Poczta, it is just remainder of not so glorious times

"What a wonderful stay in Katowice! We spent two nights here and were absolutely delighted. The rooms are beautifully furnished, very spacious and pleasantly quiet. "Good experience. Staff is really nice. Offered to pack me breakfast to go, but I was leaving way too early. I left my documents behind. The hotel staff are holding them for me. Will be back to pick them up. Wish they could mail it, but oh well. Thankful they are safe and secure!"
