Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
Our party of 2 thoroughly enjoyed the well-kept accommodations and premises of the Elkai Suite. The rooms and bathroom were spotless and the attention to detail was impressive. The campfire area with Adirondack chairs were a nice plus while we enjoyed some cozy campfire evenings. There was reportedly automatic exterior lighting before sunset, but for the first evening it didn't work. However, that was efficiently addressed by our host after our first day. Those lights nicely added a calming ambiance to the outdoor night scene. The direct Mt. Rainier view was beautiful. Regional hiking access was unbeatable and led to long days returning to a comfy cabin feel with the lounging sofa. Lastly, we had wonderful visits from a family of 3 deer (buck, doe, and fawn) and a flock of 9 wild turkeys along the sloping dirt driveway that in places is a bit steep and rough. We recommend the relaxing Elkai Suite for all that it has to offer to any stressed urbanite.
