"I'm going to preface this by saying I've stayed at many Riu's over the years and they are usually lovely. This one was not. Upon arrival I was greeted by a very rude front desk attendant. She informed me that if I really wanted a King bed (yes that's why I booked one) I would have to be on the first floor (annoying but fine). She put me in the room across the driveway immediately next to the front door so I heard literally every single person that drove in and then walked in. I was woken up about every 30 minutes. The room had some serious issues including a sink that didn't drain (I told the front desk this after the first night but nobody ever came to fix it), lights that constantly flickered, a shower that was so narrow my hip was hitting the shower bar, and the bathroom so tiny I could not be in the bathroom and close the door to the bathroom at the same time unless I wanted to stand in the shower to close it. The included breakfast was luke warm at best and when I tried to take a cup of tea back to my room I was told I could not. I asked for a to go cup and the very rude woman told me no they don't allow that. The rooms have to go cups in them with coffee but I don't drink coffee and the only tea to be found was in the breakfast area. The building also had no ice machine and I had to go to the other building to find ice. The lobby area was also very dirty and every single table had some kind of debris on it. "
