Top Pacific States Hotel Reviews

DoubleTree by Hilton Seattle Airport
8/10 Good
"Out side tables seemed to always be dirty every time I passed by."

Hilton Los Angeles Airport
10/10 Excellent
"It was super clean and all the staff are nice.."

Hotel Riu Plaza Fisherman's Wharf
8/10 Good
"Great location. Easy walk to Pier 39 where I enjoyed watching (and listening to) the sea lions. The hotel is very busy, staff are helpful when you can reach them. I called for two requests, one in the evening, and one early morning: my in-room refrigerator was not working upon my arrival (they replaced it once I was able to reach them); and two, for bell service to help with my bags at check out. Both times the phone rang and rang and rang, to the point of my hanging up and repeatedly trying again. I felt that if I'd had an emergency, this could have been quite unsafe. Breakfast is quite good, lots of fresh fruits, and an assortment of breakfast foods. The dining area is busy and loud, but I think this is to be expected in a large city. My room was on the fourth floor, which was nice as I had no one above me so probably quieter, but it was an interior room and had no view other than the HVAC system. I would have loved a city view or ocean view instead, but I suppose there are only so many of those to go around. The bed was comfortable, as were the pillows. I slept well. The fire pits are lovely, but the cushions on the seating all need to be professionally cleaned or replaced as they are dirty and stained. The resort fee is charged whether or not you use any of the services, which I did not (fitness center, pool, business center, safe...). But again, this is probably customary in larger cities. If you're looking for a convenient location, this hotel fits the bill."

Portola Hotel & Spa at Monterey Bay
10/10 Excellent
"Clean, friendly staff, parking was easy"

The Sofia Hotel
8/10 Good
"This is an Old Hotel in a Fantastic location. You can walk to the Bay and to Petco park easily. We had a King Studio which was Great for 5 nights. Compared to other downtown San Diego Hotels, rates are very reasonable, especially for a Studio. Many restaurants are with in easy walking distance. Hotel has a New Restaurant that just opened during our visit. However, we did not have the opportunity to try the restaurant. I would definitely recommend this Hotel."

The Belltown Inn

Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort
2/10 Terrible
"Disgusting hotel rooms. Dead bugs under bed. Sheets had stains. Unhealthy and unsanitary rooms. Made me want to barf… I had to sleep in a rental car until I rented another hotel room at a different resort… they also charged me over $100 in long distance phone calls when I didn’t even use their hotel phone. This place is a scam and discusting. Stay away please"

Prince Waikiki
4/10 Poor
"Very disappointing experience, especially for families travelling with infants. Unfortunately, this was the only negative part of our Hawaii trip. Communication regarding the authorization hold was inconsistent at check-in, which created unnecessary confusion and stress. We also experienced extremely slow service for a simple request for plates and bowls to prepare baby food, eventually needing to purchase them ourselves after waiting over 45 minutes while our baby was hungry. The biggest frustration was the late checkout situation. We were initially told complimentary checkout until 1 PM was available, only to have that reversed later the same morning. For guests travelling with a newborn, the lack of flexibility was disappointing — especially when the hotel suggested paying for an additional night but still could not guarantee room access before 4 PM. To make matters worse, the “king bed” did not feel like a true king size and was noticeably smaller than expected for a family travelling with a baby. Luxury hospitality should include convenience, communication, and compassion for families. Unfortunately, this stay felt more policy-focused than guest-focused, and I would not recommend this property to friends or family travelling with infants. Also, rooms for the following night still appeared available online at the time."
