"This was honestly a 10 out of 10 stay. Don't hesitate to book. What makes this place so special is the staff. They really go out of their way to help you! For example, the staff were able to reserve an authentic top level izakaya at the last minute. They also gave us free tram tickets to visit Iwase. The location is super convenient right by JR Toyama stn. Lastly, the room has 3 twin beds. A rarity in Japan. I will definitely be staying at this hotel again the next time I visit Toyama."

"It’s clean. It’s well appointed with excellent bath facilities.. It maximises the potential of being next to the sea on what is a small strip of real estate. We had a lovely and calming stay. Luggage needs to be carried up to the second floor though as there aren’t lifts."

"I didn’t plant to stay in Takaoka but the bus from Shirakawa-go was fully booked to Kanazawa. It was very good as the bus stopped the right in front of this hotel. There is a onsen style public bath which made me relax. The room was alright (not too bad). I explored some streets where old Japanese houses are well preserved. However, Takaoka is now a bit sad as local shops have been closed down as there is a big shopping mall near Shin-Takaoka where Shinkansen stops. "
